@@emissaryofcharybdis105 Yeah, I got to Platinum Rank on Master Duel with a Kaiju build that ran Sphere Mode, I've since updated it to include Lava Golem for the Number 100+97 Combo (I also play Number 82 to get round those damned Bystial, him being EARTH) and am thinking of updating it again for the Calculator (I also run Owner's Seal!)!
@@CD-Gaming Man I wish I had the time to really climb in ranked. I've been climbing steadily, but not fast enough to combat the monthly season reset/demotion. I'm good enough to be competitively viable, but I just don't have the time. Ranked climbing is such a time sink, and you can't do it when you can maybe duel two or three times every other day.

@@LongTran-ym8ty i find it extremely difficult to believe that a meta slave like this whose entire goal is to burn thru 3 quarters of their deck in one turn wouldnt be compulsively checking or at least AWARE of how many cards he had left ESPECIALLY if its in the single digits
even more so, as soon as you see the stone slab where your deck SHOULD be you know you lost
so as far as i can tell the only way this is legit is if the opponent left the room at some point (but that cant be right because theyre responding to triggers) theyre visually or mentally impaired, or, and again most likely, this was staged. we dont see the start or opening of the duel so it could be in a room and not ranked or even casual.
@@JoeVO24The opponents deck isn't meta lol. It's literally just a pile of cards from several archetypes. They happened to high roll very hard and make this board though. It's actually more fair to say the Runick player is the meta slave. Since it's way more close to being meta than whatever pile of cards the opponent is playing. Other than that yeah maybe the video could be staged. Seems like a really low rank duel tbh so idk. Calling cyberse tearlament kashtira horus meta just seemed a little silly to me.

Some people only think about doing the combos, and never pay attention to their decks (even with milling decks like Tear) I myself combo off sometimes and only notice that I am going to deck out in 3 turns after the fact. Decking out is just so rare that most people don’t think it’ll ever happen to them.
People want to play yu gi oh with there card. Not against a bot who use his spells randomly making your deck disapear. Full negate board meta is Boring but runick it's another level of cancer.

This is why I use Dark Ruler No More(Full Negate Board) and Chaos Hunter(Runick).
Perhaps in this Snake-Eyes infested meta, Runick is not the hero we wanted, but the one we needed.

I went up against something similar to this to which at the time I was doing the Proficiency test and needed to tribute summon, so I played my old True Draco deck that hardly has floodgates and straight almost won too with 0 Floodgates used.
The last turn I just needed 1 out of my 5 monsters left in deck with 30 cards and I would have won.

I beat a deck like this, by the time they finished their turn they had 1 card in the deck and they had a link card that send 3 cards from the deck to GY if a card is destroyed. I had harpies feather duster and some special summons and they had a barronne on the board to do 1 negate 😂
