This was definitely her best performance she’s ever sang. She sounded very controlled, was on pitch, and was supporting her voice nicely.
Let us not forget even Whitney Houston and Patti Labelle have approved Tamar’s vocals. She truly doesn’t get the credit she deserves, and if anyone has listened to her album “Calling All Lovers” you know exactly what I mean!🙌🏾

also, I think Tamar has a sense of natural classical ‘technique’ with that vibrato and on some of her phrasing. I like to coin it “classical gospel” or “classical soul” ❤️

@@fantasy2290it's not really weird to be honest, when pregnant it's like women's bodies become a little stronger in certain parts to protect the babe. Also they can't drink, or be around smoke or do anything that put their voices in harm so the integrity of the voice remains.
I think she was pregnant here which makes this even more incredible!

Pregnancy is when a singer can be at her VERY BEST....primarily due to them having "more to hold on too"!

The biggest difference is Leandria sings with more weight and power.
@@THEE.apples not power. Sounds like there is more power but its just her timbre. Lighter voices don't sound as weight as thicker voices doesn't mean thicker voices are more powerful.

Out of all the Braxton sisters, I think Trina has a very nice quality voice. I really wish she would sing more. I think Tamar frequently sounds better when she’s playing around but she can sing too.

I have a question. At the 5:00 mark, she does a rift that I like to call "going out and coming back" into the chord structure. That could totally be wrong. 🥴😂 What is the correct terminology for that sequence of notes?
