Iceland has been on my bucket list for years, so I was thrilled to spend Christmas in Iceland! I was debating whether to visit during the summer or winter, but the potential to see the Northern Lights ultimately made me decide to visit in the winter.
I made an Iceland travel vlog with some wonderful options and top things to do:
1. Visit with the Icelandic Horses
2. Drive the Golden Circle
3. Kerid Crater Lake
4. Gulfoss Waterfall
5. Geysir
6. Northern Lights Tour with Special Tours

Came across doing research for what to expect to see Iceland in January. Really nice video covering a lot of the sites we plan to visit when we go this January. Thank you.
I’m so jealous of all the traveling that you do and this was a fabulous video!
The sky is so gorgeous
Amazing video! My girlfriend and I plan on going during Christmas and we’ll definitely love to do those same activities
I love Iceland ❤️♥️💕💓❣️❣️❣️💓♥️❤️ what a wonderful country in the world
Wow amazing
Only thing which attracts me to Iceland is Northern Lights and I heard very nice and warm people. Thank you for the video and wow you are so pretty in that blue lagoon
Iceland is a definite bucket list item. While this video gave some great information, the "star" is guilty of what many vloggers do on CZcams, I want to see the scenery and the landscape, but she is so busy videoing herself so we only get to see the location on the periphery of the screen. Stop recording so much of yourself and record around you more. I want to see the black sand beach, not just your face and giant hood.
Awesome! We just got back two weeks ago. Loved your video.
LIFE II LENS AMAZING!! How was the weather??
Very windy! Gusts up to 25km. But we were lucky enough to fly our drone for 10 minutes! Not too cold (30-40 degrees). Almost scary warm with the humidity. I feel like we lucked out with the weather. Not too bad overall. We had a blast!
Great Video Stuart, Heading out there in October 2019. Cant wait to go now after watching this. Hoping to catch the Norther lights like you. Thanks.....Happy travels
ralphthebrick I hope you see them!!! Thanks for watching 😘
What camera did you use to spot a clear shot of the northern lights? :)
thank u for sharing
Great video, I booked my trip from Jan 22 - 31!
Bunny J me too! Let's meet up! Hahaha jk
I'm going Jan 25-31! I'm nervous about the driving...
how did it go?
This was excellent. Delta used to have an extended stopover in Iceland on flights from the U.S. to Europe for the same fare as a direct to Heathrow and Schiphol (and others I'm sure). Great marketing campaign I never took advantage of because I always had multiple stops in Europe as is. Now it's no longer an option. 😬 Major travel regret. Really enjoyed this video. Well done. 👍
Yes I've noticed they are doing away we the stopover! Thanks so much for watching!
Wow that is one amazing but very cold place
the cold was worth it :)
That I agree and I hate the cold looking forward to your next adventure
Thank you for the video. I'm going there coming Monday and visiting most of the places you did as part of a tour. What was the temperature like when you were there.. you seem to be well-packed up but still cold. Im no where as prepared as you and its already Friday now..😩😩
I Totally bought stuff while I was there! My pants were not warm enough lol!!!
Hi, I am looking to go between 12/28/18 and 01/06/19, but am hesitant of the cold, and even more so the lack of daylight. What do people do once sun sets? Do you know of any outdoor activities to check out at dark besides northern lights?
Not that much to do but enjoy cozy bars and restaurants or a hot tub
Did you find driving difficult in the snow ? Was it a snow ready tyres/car and stuff ?
It was difficult and we rented a car that was snow ready
What dates did you do this trip?
Here’s a tour of the golden circle.. and my face
How many degrees there? Too cold I think..
In which month did you visit Iceland.???
Lucky you. ;( I’ve never seen snow in my life.
Ryan R. You should change that this year!
+Stuart Brazell I know. Lol
I have but only a little I've never see it snow either
:(
our trip is from January 22 to January 26
Enjoy!!! I want to go back!!
looks very cold lol... what's the temperature there?
NoName in the low 20s during the day, it's the wind that really got to me
Stuart Brazell low 20s wow. anyway thx for uploading exciting videos! take care!
@@stuartbrazell cover your stupid face with a scarf next time
At time of year you went there?
I went for Christmas
STUART BRAZELL Do you ever think of Azorean islands?
blues man no, should I?
you should visit the island of flowers because it is full of flowers all year long and the island of sao miguel has beautiful lakes and both islands are very green and have an average temperature of between 20 and 25 degrees the whole year and the food is the best of portugal, will see on google
Food is amazing?? THERE'S NOTHING ON THE PLATE. For such a cold country, you need full regular, hearty meal. None of that minimalist French cuisine my dear which is also popular in London unfortunately where im from. Just saying...
