The candle-holders are a very good idea. But is it not going too far, to bring your home with you, wherever you are. Would it not be more polite to wait, what you find on your destination ? But the candle-holders are a really good idea. I mean it is witchy and it could be joy to make hundreds of travell-altars for everything, but I just can not find the joy to do so.

Take a little baby powder and rub it all over your box then wipe off with a damp rag and it should get rid of the sticky on your paint :)

Love this I used drawstring bags for my travel alter
chalk paint is the best , sealed with wax for any project like this , i use it to refurbish furniture so i know it lasts with no scratches etc
