I bet you will like it.
If you want a bit more power,i can show and explain how you can pull out more than 400hp from that tiny engine on stock internals.
But if you don't want to go that route,a chip tune will bring it to healthy 250-260hp.
Only thing you should have had in mind is that a non-Quattro TT is basically VW Golf or Audi A3.
The Quattro really brings life out of these,but it is expensive to fix and really easy to fuck the whole system up even daily driving.
Don't think of launching the car before rebuild,or that rebuild may just become a replace.
Also turbo's on these are really janky,i suggest swapping it out of aftermarket one as soon as possible.
P.S. I hope you bought R-line Quattro and not a base model TT.
@@lazar2175 Yeah it a Quattro. It's something called "The Black Range" or something similar!? I'm definitely interested in juicing it up a bit. I'm more focused on power than looks, but it does look rather sexy!!
@@lazar2175 "Black Edition" The previous owner took it to Audi and had them replicate the Black Edition from the MK2 TT. 19" alloys, black sports spoiler, new Bose sound system and leather front seats from the MK2.
I really wanna get a quatro tt and then do a 1.9 alh tdi swap for maximum mpgs, good power, and fun. For now i have a jetta tdi and am getting 50+mpg, but that would be a dream build for me.
@@bertrumbassetesquire3118 If you want to juice it up a bit,you could do a TDI stroker crankshaft,bore the block out and change rods.
However,i would recommend going on ebay and buying a K04 turbo for it,getting a better intercooler and doing a remap.
That should yield around 300-350 hp without losing reliability and it is not very expensive.
That looked soo much better bro 👌 quick tip for using spraycans.. keep a bucket hot water neerby and let the cans sit in hot water for few minutes instead of shaking for 5min. Also the paint gets more loose en thinner which gives u better coating layers. Can not wait to see the civic in fresh color 🙏Great content . Keep up what ur doing ☮

I used to work at a body shop... They make icing that’s a really light filler and a product called kombi that’s meant to fill pin holes and small Knicks just take a razor spread it into the pinhole then let it dry and sand it
This is the only CZcams channel that I actually look forward to getting a notification for.
Bro when you’re sanding the bondo, don’t put pressure, just put the sanding block and move your hand let the sand paper do the work, I use to put a shit load of pressure on my bondo work until someone pointed that out as well you’re doing great tho! Love the videos!

Thinking on your dilemma of “do I paint/wrap/plasti-dip...”
I think you should wrap.
When your paint cracked on the arch, it was because the plastic arch was too soft and pliable. So if you wrap and you contact the arch again the wrap won’t split or crack but will allow the movement.

I was just watching your video where you asked about how you should go about changing the color of the car. You should do a budget but still simi professional way. You can get electric spray guns from Home Depot and then also like a gallon of paint then you mix other stuff with it idk the ingredients you would have to look that up. But that would be dope.

Just a heads up, that primer is porous, so it's not really gonna protect the body from rust (Just try not to let it get wet before you finish it)

Primer doesn't prevent rust it still let's water through just try and keep the civic dry. Doing an awesome job on it though

If u get ur paint number off the insode of the door u and take it to napa and since i dont have a paint gun they can put it in a spray can
It won't match sadly. It would match if the paint on the car was in new condition but it's a 20+ year old Honda. On top of that red fades faster than any other paint color so the odds are most definitely not in his favor for that.
