I hate that Layne Staley overshadows Jerry in nearly every AIC conversation you see. Layne had a great voice, yes. But let’s face it, most of his fame is for being a burned out junkie, not unlike Sid Vicious. This song proves that AIC still could’ve happened without Layne. But it never could have been without Jerry Cantrell.
I work as a baggage handler and I was in the belly of a plane loading luggage on an outbound flight and a guitar case came up the conveyor and I just happened to read the name on the bag tag and it said "Jerry Cantrell ". To this day I wish I ran upstairs to the jetway to watch the passengers board to see if it was really him.
Been an AIC fan since my grunge queen mom used the dirt album to lullaby me to sleep as a 90s toddler…just finished watching The Cable Guy (free on YT rn!) and as soon as the credits rolled and I heard this song I was like WAIT is this jerry??? Really grateful for the internet at this moment
We can confirm Jerry Cantrell is incapable of composing a bad song.

I always hear Layne singing with Jerry, even if he's not there - just in spirit.

The greatest musician that emerged in this 90's... Fight me if you think otherwise lol.
The more reclusive/avoidant of people I become, the more Jerry's solo jams make sense to me.
Jerry Cantrell is without a doubt one of the best Guitarist's of the Generation X era. Long Live Grunge!!!!!!
Jerry's solo work is really underrated.
This could've easily been an Alice in Chains song
"The Cable Guy" ending 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I recognized Kinney's drumming immediately.
Jerry Cantrell is an interesting person
This video makes
"Hide your heart from those who hunt you"
one of the few musicians id like to have a long conversation about anything. He seems to be super intelligent and interesting as all hell.
The cable guy still remains my favorite movie of all time
I wish he had more albums

Bro made a super mellow deep song for a goofy comedy movie and made it work what a legend
Jerry always has the grimiest riffs! Much respect!
