My real 100% assessment on HotBoy Turk. In the Hotboy Era Turk was definitely the least lyrical or favored out of the 4..He did bring it and go hard on plenty tracks though..His Young & Thuggin album was at least a 6.5 out of 10 and because it came out at the break up of Cash Money when Juvenile was gone and B.G was branching off it hurt him feature wise and creativity.. Turk after Cash Money was not a great time the Penitentiary Chances album and the ones that followed were terrible albums from not having Mannie Fresh and the machine behind him.. Definitely a respected stand up guy from the South but never really shined bright on a rap scale of hot hit makers in the rap game.. I don't think his time is over though hopefully he gives us one more hard ass run when B.G gets home with a HotBoy reunion album.
They definitely did Turk wrong by not dropping his solo album in the middle of their prime Hot Era. Everyone dropped at least two albums when Cash Money was peaking accept Turk. I didn't understand it then or now why they waited to drop his album at the end of there Era. Cash Money had lost all there luster by the time Turk album was finally released. He would have sold at least 750,000+ albums if they had dropped him when the label was Hot 🔥. Master P was dropping an album every month and you mean that Cash Money couldn't find a way to Drop a YoungTurk solo debut???? Cash Money literally only had 6 rappers at the time and somehow couldn't put out a Turk Album when it would have went Gold automatically off the buzz of the label. That's why Master P will always have a better Era . He was dropping albums every month
