    Hi Ebun, Good day.
    thank you for this video I have a few questions, I would like to start my PR process now. I did have a masters here in Canada and a bachelor’s from Nigeria.
    1. My first question is whIch of the options would you advice I go for?
    2. Also can you please drop the like to the CELPIP exam
    3. Do I have to do WES?
    4. I finished school in April so I have to wait till next year before applying
    5. Last question 😅, what’s the next step after taking the exam
    Thank you, appreciate

      Hi! Thanks for watching!!
      To answer your questions:
      1. I’m not sure of your entire story so I cannot determine for sure what path is best.
      2. Here’s the link to the CELPIP website - you can create an account here and schedule your exam date : www.celpip.ca/
      3. You may not need to do it since your highest level of education (masters program) was done in Canada
      4. If you have work experience from Nigeria, you can qualify for federal skilled workers program with your Nigerian work experience. However, if you do not, then yes you’d have to wait atleast one year for your Canadian work experience and then qualify for the Canadian Experienve Class
      5. Do you mean the CELPIP exam? Lol if yes, once you have that, you can begin creating your profile for express entry in your IRCC account.
      Hopefully, I answered your questions 💕

      Hi Nicky! I studied project management in Canada as my post-graduate program and my occupation in Nigeria was Business Management Consulting - I’m in the same consulting industry here in Canada. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching.

    Thank you so much.
    This video was helpful.
    I have a question: The work experience you gather as a student(both part-time and full time(summer & co-op), does it count towards the Canadian Experience route?

    • @EbunPeter
      @EbunPeter  Před 10 měsíci +1

      I did not work while I was a student, however, I’m not sure the work experience during school counts actually (maybe if you did a certain number of hours, I’m not sure) but i think you should double check that. Thanks for watching 💕💕

    Congratulations Ebun. Please I’d like to ask if I should do my police report and WES evaluation before coming to Canada?
    I’m coming next month for a one year programme in Ontario.
    And should my husband also do the police report?

    • @EbunPeter
      @EbunPeter  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Thank you!! Yes, you can do your WES evaluation before coming to Canada or immediately when you land, you can start the process here. I’m not sure about the police report, I think it expires in 3 or 6 months - please confirm before doing the police report so it is not a waste of time. The WES is valid for 5 years so you are good to go.

    Congratulations Ebun.
    You said you didn't have to enroll for biometrics. Please, does that mean the one used for study permit suffices for permanent residency application?
    Also, did you submit just a Police Character Certificate from Nigeria? No such requirement for PCC from the police in Canada?
    Thank you 😊

    • @EbunPeter

      Thank you so much and thank you for watching!! 🥰
      No, I didn’t need to do another biometrics. I think they paused that since the pandemic, so if you have biometrics before, you probably won’t need to do it again.
      Yeah, I submitted a police character certificate from Nigeria - didn’t need one from Canada.

      @@seeksport To add to what Ebun said, your biometrics is actually valid for ten years. So, if all your applications are within ten years, you will not need to do another biometrics for any application.

      I had enrolled for one for a temporary residence application (study permit) and read from somewhere that it's valid for 10 years for other temporary residence applications in the future. Never knew it also extends to permanent residency application until today.

    Is the letter of employment mandatory?... Thank you for sharing 🙏.

    • @EbunPeter
      @EbunPeter  Před 4 měsíci

      Hi! I think it is important to add letter of employment, especially for your current job and payslips. For your previous jobs, employment verification letter should be fine (that’s the letter given to you by your previous employers which includes your job description, salary, hours worked, etc and printed with the company’s letterhead). Thanks for watching!

    Why did you have to do WES when you also schooled in Canada?

    • @EbunPeter
      @EbunPeter  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Hey! I did a post-graduate program in Canada and that was not my highest level of education at that time because I had a Bachelors degree - so I had to evaluate my bachelors degree from Nigeria. If I did a masters program here in Canada, then I wouldn’t need the WES. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
