if my family asked what im listening to right now, id have to explain that its an orchestral cover of a videogame song from a mod that was inspired by a creepypasta that was inspired by a classic videogame of a rythim game inspired by nostalgia for the mid 2000s internet. this is pretty deep down the iceberg and i love it.

@@thazmania120 Wise words my friend👍, How DARE him to spell "Rythm" wrong, we must execute him for doing such a crime against humanity. this is un-Acceptable I'm litearlly shakin and crying right now I can't believe he did this, I thought he was a good guy but now he revealed his true face by spelling something wrong that will effect the future generations of humanity evolution, he must perish for doing such a thing, this is so tragic I can't believe this..
I can already imagine someone making a mod out of this. The scenario would be a half-burned theater, consumed by the flames of hell, yet still shining in its glory, with details of gold and silver on the damaged decorations, both people from the other FNF mods and forgotten souls at the seats and in the orchestra.
Tails, with his arm stitched back on and a black Papillion on him, would begin the show with his Xylophone, while boyfriend would accompany his melody with a Violin, dressed in a Fancy suit and with his hair all arranged. Right when their melody is about to reach its climax, Xenophanes barges in, wearing a messed up, slightly ripped suit, using his foot to play a drum while also playing a Trombone. Boyfriend, annoyed by how he just barged in, ruining the melody, would stand his ground, continuing to play and matching the sudden change of pace Xenophanes gave to the song.
Defeated on first round, Xenophanes retreats to his seat, while knuckles takes the lead with his Cello, dressed in a nice white suit. Him and Boyfriend keep stealing the spotlight from each other as the chorus accompanies them, their beautiful song echoing through the entire Theater, closing in to the end of their section.
Xenophanes barges in once again, thinking his Trombone can beat Boyfriend's violin melody. A clash begins, the drums start getting intense and the Chorus songs for Boyfriend's success.
Sudden plot Twist and change of pace, Eggman, the director of the Orchestra himself, cuts Xenophanes off as him, with the help of a few living and dead musicians, gives Boyfriend a run for his money. Their part ends with the Doctor giving Boyfriend a laugh, smiling proudly at him with his rotten teeth.
Suddenly, Xenophanes comes in once more, kicking the lead of the orchestra to the side as he begins his final Assault on boyfriend, Blowing a full hurricane out of his Lungs, trying to overcome the high pitched sounds of Boyfriend's strings. The spotlight moves onto them, illuminating the two forces clashing for the sake of the show. Remaining concentrated and sweating from the stressful situation, Boyfriend bites back, counterattacking Xenophanes with the help of his violin. His fingers rapidly move across the neck of the instrument while his other hand rapidly passes the bow up and down the strings. He closes his eyes, letting the music guide him as he takes the lead once more. Exhausted, Xenophanes still tries to retake the lead, but runs out of breath shortly. The chorus sings for Boyfriend the victorious. Silver and golden Confetti start gently falling down from above as the Orchestra goes quiet. Boyfriend and Xenophanes look around at the public, who starts clapping their hands, cheering and whistling for them. The three souls join the two rivals in the front of the stage, and all give a respectful bow. They exchange handshakes, or elbow bumps, in Eggman's case. Xenophanes and Boyfriend give each other a look, and hesitantly shake hands, at least showing respect for each other onto the stage. *Curtains.*

I love that xenophanes’ voice is (what I assume to be) a trombone, very fitting.
Probably not a regular trombone since it is slide controlled so maybe it's in there but not as many notes but it does sound like trombone

Yeah, but the only bad thing is that you can't do a side by side of the two versions, because this one is two slow...
And in the 3:06-3:07 and the 3:20-3:21 parts, they do the same error that a lot of covers and BETADCIU make...
Make 4 notes, instead of the original 5 that Boyfriend and Knuckles should sing in that parts

This cover actually made me tear up during the beginning. When the music absolutely soars during Tails’ section, Sonic.EXE’s harsh low instruments pitted against BF, Knuckles and Eggman’s masterful parts are no small part in this, everything is just masterful about this.
Funnily enough the fact that this song is so long only adds to how dynamic and viable it would be for a movie score.
It's covers like these that make me wonder: How does MarStarBro and the rest of the composers that worked on this song feel seeing their hard work be praised which such care and love?
Eggman's part sounds like it came straight from the movies, this has no right to be so good

I wish at 3:01 and the rest of that specific part the strings were more drawn out and held out. I feel like that part in the og song is SO emotional and deep and I think it would've been captured more if it was held. Otherwise, BEAUTIFUL COVER!! the second Xenophane part with the dual tones was GORGEOUS and sent chills down my back 🥰 hope to see more fnf covers from you!!
I have listened to this… I honestly don’t know how many times. And it still remains easily one of the best songs I’ve ever listened to. It’s a surreal accomplishment to make a song that doesn’t get tiring to listen to, and you pulled that off spectacularly.

It's sad that knuckles is the weakest part of the cover since whoever sound balanced this decided to make his voice a very bass, muted strings, which are almost completely lost to the pounding drums.
Which is a shame, cause knuckles has some of the best vocals of the whole song.

This cover of the has a "fate of the world" feel to it and I love it.
Automatically better than the original for not having the crappy vocals
Putting the song in an orchestral setting really accentuates just how well written this piece is, with the back and forth between all the sections as well as giving the deeper instruments a time in the spotlight as Exe is just a masterpiece of design (deeper instruments like the string bass and tuba rarely get to go crazy like the violins do). Your cover has some extra bells and whistles that really pushes the song beyond its limit as well, and I gotta compliment you for that. Fantastic cover, one of the only orchestral covers I like, and I'm saying this as a cello player. Very well done.
