焼き芋は、もっと火が落ち着いてから（熾き火）になってからのほうが上手く焼けるますよ。あとは、最初から炭を使うか。（炭火焼き肉屋をイメージ）
焚き火って、炎が上っているのを見るのが楽しいけど、炎って意外と温度が低いのよね。
暖を取るにも直接火の付いた薪より、炭火の方が遠赤外線効果もあって暖かいよ。

ベーコンエッグを作る際は、ベーコン自体に油が多くあるので、最初に引く油は少なめ、もしくは少量で全然大丈夫だと思います。
もしこだわりがあったり、油をしっかりしいた方が良い理由がありましたら申し訳ないです。
