    The best 'how to' vid I have seen. Efficiency personified.

    Makes me wonder if all mechanics do the 'little extras' you show... like the anti seize on the plug threads, or replace the missing hose. When we put our bikes in to have work done, we really don't know if it all has been done to this level. You are a great mechanic, and even though the bikes you show may not be ours, I'm sure we are learning lots of little tricks you show, I know I'm learning a lot! Thank you!

      Thanks! I appreciate that. And ya, I treat every bike like it’s my own bike.

    Thanks a lot for making this vid. Very informative. I'll be changing the plugs on my 07 600 tomorrow.

    My bike 600 just started sounding like harley, iddling very low at 1000 and "dying", friend sugests it could be spark plugs, I think last they changed were 6y ago or so... great video, looks like I Might be able to handle it, thanks!

    Do you have to drain the gas tank first? And if so, what is the best way?

    • @motomecha530
      @motomecha530 Před 2 měsíci

      No, but if you do the job with an almost empty tank it makes it a lot easier.

    Do you need to drain the tank before removing the lines?

    My issue is, I changed my spark plugs today and I can't get my boots to go back in. The spark plugs are in and torqued. I just can't get my boots to set in the hole completely. I have space when i put them in. I have changed my spark plugs in the past and never had this issue. Any recommendations? Thanks

      Are the caps still on the plugs? The little metal caps made for a different style coil/wires…

      @antoniolockhart21 Před 8 měsíci

      @motomecha530 Yes, the caps are still on. I just learned that I can or supposed to take those off. I have changed many spark plugs, and I have never taken those off. I have changed the spark plugs on this bike at least 4 times and never had to take the cap off.

    Do you have to take the tank off

    • @TheKringer00
      @TheKringer00 Před 20 dny

      absolutely not, it just makes it a little easier but not worth it in my opinion...mechanics like to do a lot of "extra work" just for the actual job to be even slightly easier cause they can bill the "extra work" from the customer...
