I heard this song at DTI 2023. I encountered the Holy Spirit while we were all singing this song. It was the best moment of my life. I fell on my knees, crying. Yes Lord you came running. Thank you
I remember last year was my first time coming ro dti, and I was just so lukewarm, and I would just fall on my knees crying, saying sorry and asking for forgiveness. Haven't fallen back into that lukewarmness ever since!!
This is the best synthesis of worship based on the story of the "prodigal son". Honestly sounds like the feeling of repentance answered by a flood of the Holy Spirit in response to the Father's heart. The Spirit rushing up the road from the dwelling place of God, the very arms of the Father surrounding my sinner's heart drawing me home and enveloping my every wound, Christ's shoulder holding my head as I weep bitterly for the hurt I had done, and sweetly for the joy of being found.

God never stops running after us. That's what His love for us is like, and it's the grace He bestows on us that we can be called children of God!

was Tad Blackburn no he lives in New Hampshire, but I still love the music 🎶🎶🎶. It's so uplifting Christians have such good 😊 music, it's really good to encourage our lives 🙏🌹🌄😊🙏💖🦋
