AboHmod has inspired me to start playing 60 card deck. Btw 60 cards means less chances to brick, even though it seems like it’s the opposite!.
Plot twist: he actually imported the codes of destiny draw from duel links to master duel where every card in his opening hand is chosen by himself :)

@@doctorata3338 It depends on the deck. If you have dead cards that you don’t want to draw then add one card for every card you don’t want to draw

I play a mish-mash of fusion Thunder Dragons and Albaz Branded. I run against a lot of Vanquish and they just fold against Colossus since all of their effects are “destroy”.
It’s kind of like Branded vs the purrley matchup. Branded needs the herald against Noir and vanquish needs the flip face down effect vs Colossus.
I see it live and then I still look at it on CZcams. I appreciate this series.

I like Vanquish Soul, but holy crap fighting them in ranked is such a pain because all of my opponents literally take 6 min per activation trying to read the card or trying to remember what attributes are in the hand.
Well that and then also scrolling through the card history on the side trying to remember what they have in hand. At least in my personal experience.
I hate Borger drawing into handtraps. I can normally deal with their board, but I don't want to do it under Maxx "C".
i hate so much VS... so much draw power and so much resources in the hand.... (and don't froget maxx C for more power...). Can't infiny, can't target, can't protect my own cards, ect...
@hibikikazama1099 I don't really hate VS as much as I hate that they can use Maxx C more effectively than other decks on the ladder. The fact that the insect is an earth monster makes it less bricky than other decks that would play it. If Maxx C got banned, the game would be in a better place. I can already hear the "But it keeps combo decks in check!"

Branded with so much gas is okey, sometimes you can break their board but man the gimmick puppet lock is so toxic. That card need to be banned

Not enough hits for sure. Branded was good and topping tournaments before this pack came out, now it's just really good. Needs more consistent hits.

Yep. That puppet needs to go. I'd take Ra's disciple over it because atleast I could remove it and then continue my turn. That gimmick puppet locks you out of special summoning anything but gimmick puppets for the WHOLE turn. Its a lingering effect!

Jowgen is at least funny because you can force your opponent to discard a card to Dark Hole the board. And chances are you have enough floaters to work with that it won't be a huge issue.

optimal VS line seems to end under Nibiru, even if you open with Fenrir. Don't think they gain much from extending beyond Fenrir+Rock+JIaolong+Snow devil at the end of turn one.

I think the kashtira monsters are a huge problem. Free body, not a -1, free search, free interruption. There's literally no downside to having them in your deck. Its ridiculous.

That mirror Jude played in the Top 4 left me a bit frustrated when I realized that he had game with Fenrir, Heavy Borger and Jiaolong but chose to bring Caesar out. Don't know why duelists like going overkill when going overkill is what can turn an advantageous position into a disadvantageous one

Playing under Nibiru, Droll and Max c. Very versatile and very dynamic and after Purrley inconsistency I think Branded is tier 1.
The thing with Branded - and with cards like Albaz and super Poly - it can break insane turn 1 fields.
Ban gimmick puppet and branded will be the coolest tier 1 ever (I'm expecting it to overtake vanquish)

I have a 11 card chance to get ze amin in my starting hand and i draw my 1 ofs more then those 11 cards in my 40 card deck... abohamood draws perfectly in his 60 card deck and like never really bricks... somethings strange for sure
That’s because you should increase your deck by one card for every brick in your deck. That’s why his 60 cars deck is more consistent

PSA, you can't activate super poly immediately from your hand even though you are turn priority player
Yes turn player does have priority that turn but MD follows OCG prio rulings so that means cards on the field have priority over cards in hand to activate
(If you have cards on the field, your cards can activate before your opponent's. If you only have cards in your hand and your opponent has cards on the field, they can activate their cards before yours)

Not part of stream, but I despise Branded so much. The new lock’s just some extra heat. Also, Branded Fusion to 1 and Aluber to 2 does nothing.
Branded Fusion does matter but Bystials make it irrelevant.

@@FrostReave At least Mag’s limited and Druiswurm is too in MD. I think the main nerf of Bystials is the time to set up the branded trap & spell. Because without them, I think it’s pretty easy to deal the Bystials.

Looking at this tournament it's very splashable but also takes up several ED slots and requires you to use garnets so it's a matter of if you wanna commit that much space for the Zoo engine. Seems best in VS since they have plenty of extra room in the ED

Puppet, Dyna, Statues, Ido, Iblee, Acid golem, Winda, Kaiser Colisseum, Summon limit, TCBOO, Gozen, Rivalry and so on...

Second Branded especially branded lock is infinitely more toxic then VS. The only reason VS is even considered tiered is because it had a higher chance of drawing maxx c. It’s not half as good.
I don't like to play vs VS but branded only won because of the puppet lock, so really who won the tourney was gimmick puppet.
