  • Hi flower friends! In this video I want to show you all of the roses I have in containers! I posted a video on pruning roses in January 2022 and now want to follow up on how that prune job went and how the roses are looking. I have also purchased 4 new roses for containers and want to give you a helpful review of how season 1 is growing: Gabriel Oak, Bathsheba, Alnwick and Cinco De Mayo are my newest David Austin rose additions to my container garden. I hope this tour is helpful for you as you plan which roses you want to pot up!

If you don’t have her yet, you should really try twilight zone rose, amazing purple flowers and the most immense scent

Beautiful container garden! Very few CZcamsrs from Northern CA. Have you used Resin planter for roses? Some of your pots are not on drip line, do you hand water them? How often? Thx

Hi there. Thanks for your questions. i do use resin planters sometimes but none of my roses are in them. I am use only terracotta with my roses to ensure good air movement for the roots. Most of the pots are on drip but the three in the middle of the patio are not and I hand water those. All of the pots are watered daily if over 80'F. I have found over the years that the plants on drip flower more and more consistently then those that are hand watered so my goal is to get the three on drip as well for next year but need to be creative. Don't want people tripping!
