If it weren't for Cliff, I would have never gave the brand a second look. Cliff lives down the road from me and talked me into trying the top of the line KastKing reels. I've never looked back, they were as good as he said they would be performing side by side with reels double the cost. So for that he earned KastKing my reel business exclusively. Even though I've searched for this multiple times, this is the first this video has appeared in my search. I've been wanting to up the quality of my rods and am almost ready to pull the trigger. I just wish that there was a way to get your hands on these before purchasing to see how they feel in the hand.
I think the "delete" of the hook keeper could have been a business move. The "madbite lure wraps" at $15.98 made of PVC I'm sure have a very high profit margin; I completely understand it if that's the case. In my opinion "keeping fishing fun" money still has to be made in order to keep funding innovation and KastKing open for business. Thank you KastKing!
Christopher Richardson the hook keeper in the speed demon pro is such an inconvenience. I never use it and have actually cut my hand on it before. It is a design flaw in my opinion.
Another great video A.J and guys. I have the Spirale 7'6 heavy comming on Monday. Forbtrebbled top waters and swimbaits. I love the bottom hook holder KastKing usually uses, except for with baits with trebble hooks. I use a after market hook holder above the grip. I dont worry about snagging un my rod sock because I use KastKing lure wraps. Both are great rods I have 3 of the speed demon pro rods also.
I'm a drill a small hole in the trigger, and use that as a hook keeper kinda guy. *** I don't drill the hole through the side, but through the front of the trigger. Where your finger typically would be placed during a cast. I think the omission of a traditional hook keeper could be compensated with a system like that, which gives the angler options. In the case of the Speed Demon Pro, the trigger is already a skeleton style trigger. But again, a small hole, could be utilized for those who do not want such a open trigger frame. Either case, great looking rods and features.

I was wondering with the spiral guides the way that the guides roll is that just for right hand retrieves or can left hand retrieves work on the same rod or do the guides need to roll the opposite way
If this rods name was meant to be pronounced "Spiral" then they would have spelt it that way. Because there is an accent on the "e" it is pronounced "spiralay" plain and simple, that's the proper pronunciation for the way the word is spelt.
Do an Arsenal video. I video for a newcomer who just bought his first boat and he need an all new set up of rods and reels for some serious Bass Fishing. Lets say up to 8 Rods to cover all Bass fishing techniques. Which Rods pared with what Reels and what Line are you putting on each set up? Which Rods are good for multiple techniques?
@@KastKing I will check it out but that still does not answer the question which set ups are a "Must Have" or which set ups can double up for several techniques still allowing someone to fish competitively if they are limited on the numbers of Rods & Reels they afford or store on a smaller Bass Boat.
@@KastKing Perhaps I wasn't clear. Many anglers are using 50-65 lb braid tied to 10-25 lb flourocarbon. This creates a rather significant knot which could have issues in the guides. Roland Martin even explains it in one of his videos on knot tying. Also, you should've kept the hook keeper.

I love having the hook holder right above the reel seat.. i have added in hook holders on the rods that i have that do not have the hook holder..
