Do this to hide any file and folder in your computer system running on Windows 10

In this video, I want to teach you how you can hide any folder in your computer system running on Windows10 Operating System.
The major reason to hide a folder in Windows10 is just for privacy. Whether you share one of the best laptops with the family or use a public computer at work, or perhaps you have some personal and private files or folders that are not convenient to expose to others and need to be hidden, the fact still remain that hiding important files or folders can have many benefits, such as reducing the risk of unintended modification, deletion, or unauthorized sharing.
When you talk about hiding files and folders, you are talking about security through obscurity. You are trying to make your files or folders difficult to be seen, and that’s the only security that you are using. Once that’s been figured out, there is no more security. This is not a strong method of file security because anyone who knows how to show hidden files and hide files in File Explorer can access your files, unless you are trying to hide data from other family members who are not as tech savvy as you are, this can work just fine.
Now as you can see on the screen, I have so many files and folders on my computer desktop environment. I will now hide this particular folder I named Lecture Note, along with all the files inside it. To hide the folder, right click on the desired folder, click on properties.
Now you will notice the Attribute. Select Hidden, Click on Apply. A new window will open where you can choose whether we want to hide only that folder or also all the sub folders and files inside it. I will choose the second option, Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files. Click OK. Click on OK, again. Now the Folder is hidden as you can see.
To view the hidden folder, click on the Window Button, type Computer, select This PC. On This PC Environment, Click on the View Menu and click on Hidden items. Go back to the desktop environment; you will see the folder that was hidden as it appears pale in colour with low opacity because it is still a hidden folder. I will open the folder; you will see that other sub folders and files are still displayed as hidden files.
Now if you want to unhide the folder and revert the folder from the hidden mode, repeat the initial steps and deselect the hidden option.
This is a simple method on how to hide your important files and folders from unwanted access.
