Regatta
“Who is staring at the sea is already sailing a little.”
-Paul Carvel
Regatta
The subject regatta first came out of an experience and a small painting at Piers Park in Boston where we can see the the profile of the city and they often have a regatta in the harbor. I c walk by the Charles river and often see community boating and MIT clubs that race smaller boats on the river. It is a wonderful scene to see the boats easing back and forth circling buoys, leaning nto the wind. It turns out it is a great subject to exercise with watercolor

Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you! I am trying to learn how to do better clouds in watercolor, and you are one of my favorite artists. Going to watch it now. Thanks again, Gary!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks Gary. Skylines are one of my favourite motifs. I love how the sky turned out. Must switch to yellow ochre instead of raw sienna just to see the difference.
Thx Barbara - I should give the ray Sienna another gp
