5th Annual Tholo Ikitse Cultural Festival celebrations

Kgosi Phenyo Motshegare and Barolong Boora Tshidi in Mahikeng, North West, hosted the 5th annual Tholo Ikitse Cultural festival. The festival aims to celebrate the Batswana Heritage and impart indigenous knowledge to the youth.
Batswana at Lokaleng and nearby villages flocked to the event, to drink from the pot of cultural experts and to indulge in different traditional meals, as well as cultural dances. The event was also attended by Batswana traditional leaders from countries like Botswana and Namibia.
