- Hello friends, we had been to Malpe beach and this beach has so many food stalls. One never dies of hunger if he visits this beach. The special attraction here is the food stalls which sell fresh sea food. There will so many variety of fishes marinated in masala. They will prepare tawa fry right in front of you. Also there are so many other stalls. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian food is available here. Do visit this place and enjoy the food along with scenic view of beach.

Dear Both,
Video blog was excellent. I like both sea and fresh water fishes a lot because they are white meat. Loaded with proteins without fat and easily digestible.
However, I need to put my comments. Sorry folks. Please excuse me.
1. Fishes whether sea or fresh water, it is great source of food provided by Nature. Unfortunately it is not treated like that and this cheap source of food has been taken for granted.
2. Always once fishes are taken out of water they should be either frozen at -20 degree (long storage) centigrade or kept at 4 degree or covered with ice for a minimum number of hours before being consumed. But unfortunately, in India this is not happening and freshness is a kind of myth and mistakenly accepted nomenclature.
3. In your video those fishes were covered with masala but they are left at room temperature in open air. They can be covered in masala but keep refrigerated.
4. Use of different common regional names for the same fish all over the India. In this regard there is so much of confusion and people most of the time in India when they go looking for fishes in a place which is not familiar to them face lot of difficulty in buying or placing an order. For example people who are used to "Kane" face lot of difficulty in buying the same fish else where in India because it is called by different name some where else.
5. Anjal is simply called as King fish in English. Disco fish is called Finned Bullseye in English. This fish has a unique biology as well as habitat.
6. Request to provide common English names of the fishes when you do food blog on fishes of India next time.

1. small size Anjal fish is not tasty. Only medium or big is tasty . 2. the restaurant guys add red color to the masala. Hence the red color and its not spicy. The color is bad for health
