- This is a reupload of the Phillip Deere speech in order to correct an audio glitch with the previous upload.
Videotaped at the 3rd Annual Symposium on the American Indian, May 1 and 2, 1975, Northeastern Oklahoma State University.
Had the ultimate honor of him speaking to us in Oakland, California during the 80s at AIM house. He remains one of a kind sent here by Creator.
I was aquainted with with Phillip Deere in the 1970s and early 1980s. He was the real deal. He stood up for right and what he knew and believed.
My late father was born in Holdenville OK. His name was Eunis Jake Deere. He was 3/4 Creek and 1/4 Seminole. He was fluent in Muskogee language. I plan to learn more about our ancestors, hopefully visit his birthplace and learn all that I can.
His words are like iron. Still strong today.
he is alive still and forever!✔
A VERY POWERFUL NATIVE SPEAKER WHO TELLS THE TRUTH A A NATIVE PERSON!
He would come to Okfuskee Ceremonial Grounds and sing the Feather Dance back in the 80's. Have him on cassette tape leading the Double Header Dance.
Living in Harmony With Mother Earth Is "Indian" .
I am so proud to be a muscogee creek native, would love to learn more about my culture
That is so sad it made me cry
This is so Beautiful!! 🙏🏽💐✔️
Thank you for sharing this knowledge!
In 1981 Phillip Deere visited Billy Meier in Switzerland as Billy was/is also versed in the laws of nature, the teachings of the Creation.
The insight that man has given from his heart is nothing but amazing
This was so good! Prophetic too! Strangely, I was living only about an hour away from this speech attending elementary school in Ponca City, OK when this was live.
I wish I could meet this guy but sadly I wasnt alive during his time my life started 2004 that's when I was born
I too would like to talk with him, I would ask a lot of questions. I see truth and honesty in his words. That is something very difficult to find now.
we are very fortunate to have this recorded archive of his life to remind us of him
@asamiyashin444 you take what he said and apply it to what you see and know.
💔liberty💔
The cold wind of November
blue and a day I remember
when waiting for December
the tears are surrendered
to a love lost gone
WAs the last day I cried
why I asked for love denied
my body instantly grew cold
I could have lost but I continued on
searching I walked a mile on bent
chasing after fainting scents
of a love lost spent
these eyes that fuel my soul
will connected to a heart
I could never hold but
I cried and tried and cried
never ever think I wasted my time
her beauty once I did hold
carelessly caressing kissing touching
But Then There came a time this time
I cried knowing Never Be Mine
liberty and justice for all

I resonate with everything this man says. What a fantastic speech.
Thank you! I listen to this often.
It is difficult for me to listen to him, because it is like perverbial nails on a chalk board to hear him say "prove what kind of Indian are you." I know what he is tryng to say , but the brainwash of identifying as Indian, when I'm not bugs me to the hilt. All of us who identify as or the culture of Indigenous peoples should not have tp cancel out who we are ...whether or not you're mixed bloods of Indigenous tribes of the Americas, tge islands, Europe, Asia, Africa, whatever. Be grateful for who you are, first as a person made in the image abd likeness of God Creator of all things. In this is good medicine.
How about trying to read your nonsense? Lol@@ronparcke-wms2146
Thank you, keep it coming.
Phillip was a real good friend of my mothers during early 70s🪶

MVTO! we will add that info to the video description.
I hope you get land back that makes me cry
The great spirit...nothing is ever lost...lands rivers...most of all is streams..of many as wide as any rivers..stream of time and spaces between...time our time...to live in blessing lands again...Ghost dance...as it approaches all the oceans of our universes..it is small as any child. As great as all the holi mountains...peak...is eternity...ho hi hey...greetings..master of life...sit upon a hill.....peace..brothers and sisters..great great grands...holi fire..
Thanks upon trail.. thinker
You are facing an Indian this afternoon....I speak Indian first...then I began to speak the borrowed language...I wish I met him.
I never spoke Indian. That's not even a language. Although part of my heritage Alibamu(Alabama), I learned Mvskoke since most people speak this but only knew a few words in Alibamu.
❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That's usually what a great man does. I love how he says it cause unfortunately it's pretty damn true. "If you live an Indian you'll die one."
Truth ❤❤❤❤
Inbalance is the problem of societies worldwide. However, this is not so for the indigenous peoples. Simple is good.

What year was this?
We believe that this was recorded sometime in the 1970s, but we don't know for sure, our original archive material does not have a date on this particular program.
@@MvskokeMedia There is a video of him here on CZcams, in colour, but it's in German. Do you have the original?
I mean this video: czcams.com/video/X_z3gVRhUAY/video.html
