The thing that they call drop shot "holders" are fly snaps, they are used in fly fishing for bigger flys. I used them on my BFS and UL setups so I don't destroy my leader and I'm able to swap lures/jigheads without busting my nails on stupid bulky snaps.
The « drop shot clips » are actually clips used by fly fishermen. I’ve been using them for years for fly fishing (Imdont fly fish that much anymore) and mainly ice fishing.
Guys I am not sure if you all or if anyone in the bass fishing world remembers the Gene Larue Salty Craw. Until now those were the only baits that I had ever seen with salt impregnated into the bait. Now seeing these like the old school salty craw makes me want to give these a try.
Jeff, I've been using the GLF tube jig heads for about a year now. Even if you use them with 2.5" tubes in the traditional shape, I think you'll find that the GLF jig prevents a lot of rolling. Tbey sit on bottom very nicely.
Tried the Juvy this past week. They work! Smallies were choking them on Oneida Lake, in various colors. Have used the snack craw with good success. Used their 1/4-1/2 oz heads due to wind, and held well.
Tip... rather than spend the money on the quick clip things for changing out drop shot weights, what I do (and you should too) is just tie an over hand knot exactly where you want your drop shot weight at and cut the line just a tiny bit past the knot so that the very tag-end of the line sticks straight from the knot and then take your drop shot weight of choice and insert the the tag-end of your line and the small over hand knot through the hole of the weight's swivel clip and pull the line tight up through the pinch part of the clip and bring the line tight through so that the knot is wedged at the very tip of the swivel clip and it'll keep the weight tight and secure to the line and if you want to quickly and easily change out your weight just simply pull the line down the crimp and back out through the hole you put it in. Then just repeat the same process on the new weight. So much faster, easier and a lot more cost effective as well. Hate to say it, but those quick clips are a waste of time and money if you do it the way I suggested. Trust me, you won't regret it. 👍
You guys are killing me! Just what I need! More lures to try! Those lures look SOOOO GOOD! ( I might have to unsubscribe if you keep this up! - JUST KIDDING! Keep up the GREAT work! ). I really like that flat plastic you used on the drop shot in your first 2024 fishing video!
Another banger guys awesome job when I grow up I hope to be like you hahaha I got a bite fd Jackson going after trophy Tennessee fish I mean all of them crappy largemouth smallmouth musky trout red ear, bluegill I fish in Tennessee my whole life. We have such a diverse population of fish, and I want to become a master of them all. I’m gonna be filming my adventures. I’m sure they won’t be to the quality of your guys videos, but I’ll do my best. I’m gonna make a bank in this year and probably by the end of this year, I’ll start releasing videos if they’re up to my approval, lol
You guys are WAY under rated!!! Keep it up your channel is platinum 👌 👏
Heyyyy thank you!
Thank you!

I just bought their new bait for the year juvy craw a couple days ago and some finesse tube heads
I'm normally a Nikko Hellgrammite but might be giving these Hellgrammites a try, and that juvey craw really has me intrigued. Great upload, fellas.
🤌🏼
I'm gonna have to get some of these to try out this year. It's just going to have to be later on this year.

We be using football heads in tubes up here so they don't roll on bottom. I would stuff a bait fuel soaked cotton ball in that juvy craw too boys.
Oooooo, that's a good idea, Kirk!
These baits look insane. Can’t wait to tie some on and get out on the kayak.

I have been using the Great Lakes for months now. The snack craws make amazing jig trailers as well.
Definitely will have to get those juvey craws asap
Missile Baits now have the mid strolling hooks seen a video of it today
Even though they cost an arm and a leg, I’ve always been impressed with nikko’s finesse offerings
Same here, we've used them for years.
Those craws look like little well fed babies with the fat rolls on the arms. So precious.
Hahahaha

What colors would you recommend for river fishing. I want to pick up the great lakes craw and flat cat
Black, Meltdown, Red
Im sure these things get bit but they are pricey... I just dont understand how they are the same price as full size baits.
It’s a different plastic that is neutrally buoyant and durable. They hold up
@@aaanglers ok, now im intrigued.. great stuff!
