I was hoping Poland will be at least Top 5. But 6 place still isn't bad and I would say Zoe was much more better than Lissandro last year. She deserves a win but he doesn't.
I agree, I found Lissandro performance too much, he scream more than he sang, it was pretty horrible to listen last year, Zoé was an excellent singer this years and I love the song ! ( I'm from France so not a hater's country XD )
I agree with poland and france my to 5:
1.france
2.spain
3. Poland
4. UK
5. Germany
He got the most of points and he won that's how it works, period.
Im glad Spain became so high Well deserved as nobody saw it coming. Armenia was my fav but something happened cause it flopped a bit in the live performance and i think were the camera angles. Overall the best JESC so far 😊
Yes absolutely agree
The Song of Spain is good
Nobody saw it coming? 😂 It was a clear top 3 from the moment it was released. You all always underrate Spain, but we get the winning formula right most of the time, with the exception of 2021. If it had been a french song, you wouldn't have underrated it the whole season
@@mrPp475totally agree.. Spain was a clear contender to win since the first moments
If that came form France it definitely would have won
I was in Nice this weekend to see the Jesc 2023. It was my second time watching Jesc and the first time that I saw a Eurovision show live and I think it was one of the best experiences in my entire life ❤
and she STILL hold that belted note CONSISTENTLY even if its the winner's performance of emotions. She is a VOCALIST.
The Netherlands was my winner from the beginning and for me they should end up in top 5. Poland was also sooooooo good! Very emotional performance. Song from France is good but for me personally it wasn't a winning song. But the performance was really good.
Netherlands is underrated Every year
It was definitely in my top three going into the contest but I have to be honest and I hate myself for saying this. I thought the vocals weren't quite there. They have certainly performed it better than that. I'm sure she suffered with nerves as he had apparently been struggling with his voice. This meant that had added pressure on her to perform. It sounded like she had extra lines to sing which didn't help her confidence.
Well they definetely deserved to win this year but not previous year, congratulations !
France clearly has deserved victory. She had the best performance.
I'm glad with Poland and Albania finishing Top8, bud sad for North Macedonia, Ireland and Estonia. They did not deserve such low positions, especialy the jurys robbed them.
HAHA go Away, It was so boring
Totally agree. Albania's vocals were amazing as was Estonia and North Macedonia. Ireland was a massive shock too. I was never a massive fan of the song but to come last was totally undeserved.
always loved Gaia...now I love her more for giving 12 points to Armenia. THANK YOU QUEEN of JESC 2022.
Congrulations France 😊😊😊
Such a fun event, ESC without the stress, without this seriousness, I hope JESC never stop existing.
Netherlands is like Malta in 2022, the essence of the song is the nice beat only. Still very good songs to listen and enjoy, of course, but to win the contest is not enough.
Jasmijn’s voice please
Jasmijn's voice wasn't the best of the contest, everyone knows obviously.
They had the same problem in 2014 with a song that was practically the same. Good to listen to in studio, but not memorable or original enough to stand out on a tv show, doesn't bring anything new. It is a kind of song you could hear on whatever national selection some years ago. The staging and performance was standard, average, that could be for any song of that genre, it doesn't stand out. At JESC personality is key, that's why France and Spain came top 2. If you mix that song and cold artificial staging (felt like AI generated) with 2 teens that weren't specially charismatic, the result is not unexpected. That song with a better staging and a charismatic guy like Matheu from 2019, could have worked better
@@mrPp475 Couldn’t agree more, you said it all 👏🏼
My top 5 (except my country 🇵🇱Poland)
1. North Macedonia (Very underrated..)
2. Armenia, I love these girls
3. France (Beautiful scenery and song)
4. UK (Original and well sung)
5. Ukraine (Very sweet and catchy)
Imagine how the Norwegian jury results would be if Norway participated in JESC 2023.
1 point to Poland
2 points to Albania
3 points to Ireland
4 points to Armenia
5 points to Italy
6 points to France
7 points to Ukraine
8 points to United Kingdom
10 points to Netherlands
12 points to Germany
They wouldn't give points to Armenia, Albania, Italy and The United Kingdom. Maybe also France and The Netherlands. The fact they don't take part is because they don't like how some countries adultize their entries. You are completely wrong, they wouldn't vote what they exactly criticise
@@mrPp475 What?
North Macedonia being soo low is the biggest robbery ever but yeah France was really good.Deserved win!
Exactly my point!!!I also thought that they would present their ESC 2024 here in JESC 2023!Why they showed Amir and hot him?
Im still mad at the juries for giving fia barely any points
Vocally Fia is quite boring to be honest. There's barely any emotion in her song. It's almost like she got points purely based on a message, and to be perfectly honest, at least from a vocal perspective, that's what is earned.
@@Estellemusic there was more emotion than in a lot of other songs.
Vocally, I very very much disagree. The only song with less vocal emotion was Portugal. Source: am literally a vocal coach who cannot judge on anything more than vocals ever.
@@Estellemusic great for you im vocally trained🤷♀️ doesnt change my opinion. You can't messure emotion. People feel it differently. I loved fias performance and found it tk be very emotional. If you didnt thats fine. But dont make it seem like emotion is some thing everyone feels the same about
I' don't want to start an argument, and that's exactly what you're doing. You felt like Fia got cheated, I'm explaining - from my perspective - why I disagree and understand the overall result. She still finished well. That's still incredible.
France deserves this victory!
Unlike 2020 and 2022, France indeed deserved it this year! 🤭
agreed with just that last BELTED NOTE
No maybe top 5
I "loveeee" how Armenia just flopped the staging, as if they specifically didn't want to win. The dark colors, a wired dragon on the stage and messy camera angles.
I don't think they didn't want to win. They really did. I believe they spent all the money on the music video and they weren't enough creative to make something spectacular with the money they had left
@@mrPp475 yeah, I'm not sure about that. Armenia always had good staging even with the worst songs. And this was fun fav and got so low in televote. The vocals at the beginning were not the best either. The rehearsals were better.
Strange how Ireland fell from 4th to last with basically a carbon copy of the previous years song. Were they being penalised for being a bit one dimensional. Shout out to Albania and Estonia for their amazing vocals. As a British person I thought the UK finished much higher than I thought it would. To me the vocals were pretty weak, and that's me being kind as they are only children. I personally thought Armenia gave a lesson on how to deliver a song very close to the studio cut.
Finally, I thought the way in which the final score for France was delayed for an eternity was ridiculous.
Controversial Opinion. Despite normally having a bias towards France (and other songs with French in it Like Spain this year) I wasn't a huge fan of "Oh Mamman!" My favorite Last year was "La Festa" by Luna from the Netherlands. I did also like (In no particular) Poland, UK, North Macedonia and Armenia Last Year. Also I like it when a country chooses the previous years representative to Reveal the 12 Points (eg how The Netherlands chose Luna and I wish the UK chose Freya). Also they hosts are Pure Evil for taking at least 2 mins to reveal how many Points France got
what did you look strange when SPain could have won? would you be happy as with France?
Winner: France was a contender to win since beginning, more deserved than last year but still I think Armenia did staging better and was more unique.
Shocking: Poland was so beautiful, nobody expected that, Albania - it was hypnotizing.
Dissapointing: Neatherlands - luck of energy, UK - too complicated and overdone.
Overall show: tragical - France as a host is much worse than Armenia and Poland, show was boring and predictable. Stage was too big for kids, too much french language and luck of interesting interval acts.
Totally agree on the overall show.. I hope Spain will do a better job hosting because last year was not that great… don’t get me wrong the songs were amazing and performances were amazing too but the show was not great
For me was best The Netherlands!!! France was good, but not best. Sorry but Spain was ok for maybe around 5th place.
My TOP5 from Poland, after show
1. The UK
2. Ukraine
3. Ireland
4. France
5. Estonia
What do you have against Spain ??? I don’t understand … France has won many times . It’s High time to another country wins . Spain is the real winner ❤🎉 estoy muy orgullosa de mi país , Bravo Españaaa🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸
Nothing at all! I just preferred the Netherlands song more, I think Sandra did a great job and the songs super catchy ❤️
@@noosh101 okey , the Netherlands was your favorite, AMAZING , but I was shocked when I saw your reaction at the moment that they said that France was won AGAIN ( which is so unfair , in my opinion ) I mean , it’s time for others countries to win , if always wins the same country : what is the sense of the competition?
Anyway, I love your videos , I enjoy watching them so thank from Spain
I was rooting for Armenia , Spain (my country) Ukraine , Poland … that’s a pity because there were amazing songs but .. not always wins the best ones …
Kisses from Spain 🤗🇪🇸❤️
@@meganstar97 Spanish song was a very bland pop song without any vocal impressiveness, everyone is shocked that it finished second. France was definitely the better one of this two songs.
@@rickknown5635 ok , that’s your opinion
She's salty because the UK and The Netherlands ended under Spain, which she considers a second-class country like a good anglo. The Netherlands was going to be a flop from the very first moment, eurofans overrated it but i always saw them doing poorly on juries, just exactly as 2014 when they send a similar song. When you send something that might be good but lacks personality to stand out on a tv contest, that's what you got
France again ? 😮is a joke?
España merecía ganar y no Francia por dinero y política
estonia was robbed
Netherlands robbed
Only in your mind. 7th was best what that poor vocal performance from Sep could get.
@@Michi-R10Sep was sick
@@escxnoah I know that. Still jury was doing what they suppose to: awarding great vocals and not rewarding poor.
