Fair warning to everyone, You can't get BYZ achievements unless you start as BYZ. I already have those so it would not impact me, but don't want you guys to make that mistake.
Emperor Philip the 4th of the empire of France and the holy roman empire give all his holdings besides the capital to the duke of burgundy. The duke died one day after thus granting the emperor all the land back in inheritance. Then the emperor issued the unification of the Holy Roman Empire thus uniting europe and inheriting all the ottomans lands. He then surrendered to the confucian zealots and converted to Confucianism
The avenge 1071 missions automatically converts all turkish province to greek/pontic. Its the best of the 3 options. Also byz gets to accept bulgarian culture without it taking up a slot if you do so through missions
The crappy thing is that even converting all turk provinces to greek still means that you have an inferior culture group due to lack of dev. Empire of turkish accepts all levantine culture, which is also the group with the largest amount of dev in it at the start of the game. You have to use up precious slots on cultures and dont get brother culture reduced penalties. Greek culture overall is just inefficient af, needs to have a mechanic that allows you to synthesize cultures, kinda like syncretic religions
@@evm7272it would be great if they added an option like the angevin one which merges greek and turkish cultures under levantine after like converting all the turkish provinces to orthodox
Got here pretty fast. Your content's great to watch, your editing keeps a nice flow throughout the video and you play eu4 *well* but without getting too caught up on pointless shit. Just the perfect stuff to watch while having dinner. Commenting so you know you're doing a great job, you're my favorite eu4 youtuber now, keep it up man
TBH Austria -> Byzantium while getting Bohemia and Hungary under PU and dismantling HRE feels much stronger. Especially now that in 1.36.2 you do get Byzantine T1 gov when reforming into Byzantium.
Additionally: 1. You can also get Burgundy, Poland-Lithuania(via missions) and Spain (via dynasty event) as PUs with Austria. 2. You can have equal orthodox and catholic by conquering Balkans, switch to orthodox accepting rebel demands = loose emperorship, switch back to catholic beat current emperor feeding land to ally, become emperor again. Repeat. You can revoke privilege by 1490. czcams.com/video/Pn5JTLnugAQ/video.html 3. Additionally at admin lvl 10, you could also culture flip to Sardinia-piedmont, getting 5% permanent admin efficiency, flip to Prussia get more admin efficiency and some cool permanent bonuses, then flip to Greek and still form Byzantium. After which you can form the Roman Empire and after that the Holy roman empire for an insane god-run.
@13:31 you could wait for the month tick. If you pause on the 1st of the month, the Rebels will be at 100%, but will spawn the 2nd day of the month, so you could spent your mil points a bit more efficient.
This vassal strat is great for making releasable nations more playable (I did it with Mann and Finland to minimise pain for their achievements). It's hilarious that even with this OP setup, Byzantium is still so painful to play. They really didn't need the pronoia nerf...
Well played, creative gameplay with the tryhardism that just sucks the fun out of the game. Favorite eu4 CZcamsr by far. Thanks for the awesome strats ! Just a little thing for your edits : pls try not to mumble that much, my English is decent but I really need to focus to understand you sometimes 😁
Just letting you know that Lemoncake101 made a similar strategy to this, although not the same, he too started as the Ottomans and released Byzantium to annex himself. Still, this seems more similar to your Asturias run than his. Nice video yet again!
Would it be possible to do Mehmet's ambition and then do this strategy and inherit all the eyealets? They all would likely be 100% disloyal I guess depending on how much dev you have

Being historian in world of Playmaker campaign must be most confusing job possible

clicked this super fast after your ottoman shenanigans lmao. You're quickly becoming (if not already) my favorite eu4 youtuber!
Thank you so much! I hope you find this one interesting

The Kind words mean so much! Thank you so much.
What the fuck. I think to myself these strats can't get any crazier and here we are....
Id love to continue the game from this point. Yet another amazing video, another one where ive been amazed by what you achieve. 👏
TBH Austria -> Byzantium while getting Bohemia and Hungary under PU and dismantling HRE feels much stronger. Especially now that in 1.36.2 you do get Byzantine T1 gov when reforming into Byzantium.
Or start with the Empire in Religious peace so instead of dismantling, you remain the Emperor.
Additionally:
1. You can also get Burgundy, Poland-Lithuania(via missions) and Spain (via dynasty event) as PUs with Austria.

Honey, it’s time for another Byzantium run

You have my sub sir
This strat is so scuffed, I love it!
I already have my Byz achievements so this might be a fun run for me
What kind of abomination have i just watched ? 😳
Me after watching this: *insert screaming green screen cat meme here*
Doing the old switcharoo
Definitely my favorite single player CZcamsr

Ottomans Eyelet system can be abused to get a lot of territory quickly too
Did I just watch an eu4 order 66 on his own subject?
This is interesting variant of lenoncakes strat.
Florry did it first kekw

its inspired from the Asturias run.
@@Theplaymaker57 Yeah I thought that may be the case. As mentioned, it is very similar. Keep up the good work!
Kinda thought "your situation sucks", and ehh its 1470, you'll recover.
I guess what you learned is you really want tech 4 as ottomans before releasing Byz
So, uh, the crazy strategy to have Ottomans-sized Byz is to start as Ottomans and feed Byz... truly, groundbreaking.
Would it be possible to do Mehmet's ambition and then do this strategy and inherit all the eyealets? They all would likely be 100% disloyal I guess depending on how much dev you have
I'm not sure, but your idea gives me an idea for my next video
@@Theplaymaker57 glad to hear!
@@Theplaymaker57 oh god
how did the coalition not fire earlier?
he gobbles it all up in like 5-6 months
Cap this isnt 1570 but i realise that u didn`t Start as Byz
i think u can try to convert ottomans in orthodox and then change the main culture into greek and then form byzantium xd
Ottos end game tag sadly or that would be super easy
Heyyyyy. Thats not Byzantium!
This is ridiculous...
lol
You just pissed of all your byz rp subscribers
man...wtf...
Pff, I had 1000 dev to 1477
Where's the video?
This guy hates forts more than anything 😭
first
At this point just open debug and command annex everyone. :/
Ironman doesn't allow that. Silly goose 🤣
@@Theplaymaker57what's the point of ironman if we play like this
I mean I can promise you this is 10x harder then playing as Byzantium to begin with
Another bad video
Care to elaborate?
