A few weeks later I got thigh highs and wore the same outfit but with the socks and a guy sitting next to me wispered "Why did you wear a costume to school?" and i kinda just looked at him like -_- wtf. Yeah people are just going to be rude and think that. Its silly in my opinion and sad for cute socks, skirts, and blouses have to be associated with that. No it is cringey, and I don't really get the performance. It's cool to just cosplay, but adding a dance kinda made it weird because it was mostly just a lot of arm waving and hip shaking. But I give her a lot of credit for doing what she loves. It takes a lot of courage and determination to do that.
