  • [Recorded 9-12-20] I believe CAelevators and I are the first to find ThyssenKrupp Aurora freight elevators! Both of these are quite unique. The first elevator in this video is the food court freight. It has a really nice motor and a hilariously broken door closing bell. The elevator itself was actually pretty fast when traveling. A lot of the buttons have been replaced with the Signa 4 buttons or VR. The second elevator is a little more interesting. It travels a very short distance to the dock level. It also has ridiculously rough doors. They were some of the worst I've seen. The cab lighting was really dark. The door closing alarm bell sounded like a broken buzzer until it decided to ring towards the end of the video. We thought somebody called it lol. Anyway, both of these are very interesting and definitely some of the coolest freight elevators I've been on! There might be more hidden around in this mall, but these are all we filmed for now. Enjoy!

    That door-closing bell sounds like it is having a seizure.

    At least on the second elevator you can listen to more of the motor going from the loading dock to G.

    Okay there’s two things I wanna say.
    1: Broken door bells help to keep suspicion away, lol
    2: At 2:03 my first thought was “Is the freaking light off?” But then I noticed it was the alignment, lol

    Never knew they made ThyssenKrupp Aurora freights. That bell is very interesting and yeah... Pretty nice dry powered startup too.

    This is pretty rad! What wing of the mall was this in? I'm guessing somewhere near Nordstrom?

  • @EWPA14
    @EWPA14 Před 3 lety

    That is very well, interesting. I think they both had Traditional buttons but Aurora fire service & indicators like the 2nd 1, but I guess the 1st 1 had a bunch of buttons replaced. I hate it how (older) tks go leveling speed when traveling quarter/half floors.

    Wow! These are really cool. I still question who let you and how did you get back there... I also know that TK makes good freights!

    Amazing F-pitched motor on the first one and G-pitched motor on the second one! Interesting finds!

  • @lucasgelevatorsandmore7722

    On top of that is has courion Dora with is also not common

  • @ProspectElevators

    Can't believe the buttons are already falling apart and getting replaced, isn't these Freighters from 2007-08ish when they first expanded the mall?
    Kind of pathetic lol
