I have faced a lot of the kids from the east a lot. Those kids are studs especially Jordan Griffin and Jeb
I know they’re prob 13 now but I’m still 12 and the highest I’ve seen is like 72 but the pitchers are throwing like 84 that just shows you how good they are and how hard they work

My son faced him in Hawaii late in July 2021. Incredible player for someone so young. Hit two home rungs too, but cleared a 265' fence by at least 40'.

LLWS kids all need to live in the same town. You'll never find kids the size of high school players ever on the LLWS. These teams are kids from several different states, not just one town. Or in the case of larger towns, kids from one corner of one city.

A coach can challenge this and would in any game but an exhibition.

the players teams play in perfect game tournaments, and perfect game keeps all of the players stats and at the end of the season perfect game looks at all of the stats and picks the best ones

Did you check their ages before commenting? My son is 12 and he doesn't turn 13 until November. There is an age cutoff to compete in this event.

Lies! There is a strict age requirement to qualify. Go look up their profiles on PG and check their ages before you make these comments. 90 percent of these kids are 12 and a few turned 13 a few months ago.

@@MC-sn4gb What a chauvinist comment! So we all know what type of person you are. Yes, the holdback situation has been bad, but the rule changed for those playing 13u and below in PG recently. So, with that being said: you must also know there was a cut off in the PG Select Fest to play in these games. Any kids that were 13 had recently turned 13, and most were 2026. So you go warm up the stove so some of those brain cells that got you thinking, you know it all deteriorate on purpose. The bulk of the kids were only 12 including my son. Look each name up and verify on PG. Don't take your experience and make it applicable to every single situation.

Early onset puberty. They don’t have much more room to progress over the years, and they’ll only progress with strength training as most of them have hit or are close to hitting their genetic ceiling.

@@storyofjayy6801 they’re not. They are probably throwing 75 tops. I’ve coached for 18 years at youth baseball level and the best of the best threw 73-76 at 12u but they were not only unhittable, the catchers could barely catch them.

Truly don’t believe these kids are 12 unless they’re elite of the elite. 77 miles per hour is something 14u players can barely reach. Those are around high school/freshman year speeds. My brother plays 13u and the fastest we’ve seen is around 72 maybe 73, 14u tops out at around 75 ish. These kids are definitely teetering on the line for ‘12’ years old
Most of them are reclasses meaning the could be old as and still be playing in the 12u games. For example, some of the 14u kids are actually 16-17 because they reclassed.
