- Cagnes-sur-Mer is a medieval town situated on the French Riviera, between Saint-Laurent-du-Var and Villeneuve-Loubet, only 9 miles (15 km) away from Nice and 14 miles (23 km) away from Cannes.
Le-Haut-de-Cagnes is the medieval part of the town and is famous for its castle which was built in the 14th century by Rainier Ier Gribaldi. The part of the city by the seaside started to expand rapidly from the 19th century onward with the settlement of fishermen from Menton.

How to get to Haut-de-Cagnes from Nice:
By car, a 20-min drive from the city center on the A8.
The train will take you from Nice-Ville to Cagnes-sur-Mer in 15 minutes and it takes 20 minutes to walk up to the medieval village.

Fin années '60 avec ma famille nous avons passé nos vacances d'été à Cagnes-sur-Mer. Le curé était de la lointaine famille et nous laissait un logement sous l'église! Ce n'était pas du tout sombre. Je n'ai pas vu l'église dans la vidéo. Je me rappelle que l'église se trouvait en bas du village, pas très loin du marché. On a répété nos vacances l'année après. Quel souvenir🤩💫

Отличное место ! Но еще к этому и отличное освещение, отличная камера и отличный оператор ! Очень хорошо что не слишком широкий угол обзора. Это дает эффект присутствия. К сожалению не все снято у этого автора именно с такими параметрами. Есть ну очень широкоформатные записи. Что касается данной записи - нет слов ! Отличная работа !

You filmed this village beautifully! I really enjoyed the walks though the covered passageways.Cagnes-sur-Mer is gorgeous! The footage showing the landscape around the village was terrific.It was interesting to see the modern architecture surrounding the town.While walking through the town it's easy to forget there is a modern and mostly unattractive world outside the village.Thank you so much for taking us there.
