Anything on the outside of the wall the Massey is pointing at, you could run the pto shaft through the wall with tractor outside… for noise and fumes 🤷♂️
Hi Phil good to see you have got the dryer set up, I am sure it has seen some use by now all ready just as ours has here in south west England. Just a few notes. 1 looks like you found the cover plates for the centre auger access holes as the grain was coming out of the top by then end of the video, looks a lot like them by the right tyre of the dryer but that might be the different screens to go inside. Also did you make sure the centre auger is hanging from the top bearing and not sat on the bottom one? It will eat the bottom bearing. 2 I would be careful running it without the screen that should be in front of the main fan there will always be chaff blowing around when it is running and that fan will blow it all straight into the plenum past where the gas flame is, big risk of it catching on fire from that. 3 you already got the right idea with the tractor in 1000 saves a good bit of diesel, book recommends running it at 525 rpm always run ours at 500 rpm is not a lot of difference either way really. 4 I would shut the windows and doors on the tractor or it will be the nastiest place for anyone to sit afterwards, and keep the radiator minded as the dust can make her get hot. 5 On the gas side good idea to get a professional in to set it up, a household spray bottle of soapy water is the way if you have to touch any of the connections after like changing the bottles. 6 ear defenders good idea and a dust mask 😂. Sorry for the long post, I am sure you guys have it all sorted anyway, if you have any questions please ask I will try help if I can. Happy drying.
another point, i don't think you enough air space above the drier and might get a lot of condensation
It's going to be raining inside your shed.
😮
John hear from Tyrone had the lovely time with the same grain dryer in 1985 at 15 years of age don't jam the feed auger or you are in a hole world of shit the belts on the bottom start to burn them selves off it is a fucking night mare pulse the stoure comes of it you will be scratching in places you did not know excited 😭 good luck Phil I have the T SHIRT of it never again 👍

LMAO 🤣
The Best of luck with farmer Phil
Great purchase 👌
Powerful Good Video Phil 👌
Seen one of those dryers setup years ago where i used to get straw ,They build a shed around the dryer high enough and with access both sides for filling and a MF 168 driving it . He then had 2 small bays about 15 or 20ft deep , one for the dried grain next to the dryer and the other for the grain off the combine . They had a good loader on a tractor feeding it and taking it away to a bigger grain store . That 590 would be the right lady for that machine
The drier looks to be a good simple yoke , handy thing to have in this damp country we live in
Another very interesting video Thank 😊😊
Hope the new dryer does a good for you. You are so right never mess with Gas always get the experts gas is so dangerous.
Could you please close that back window of that massey on the drier! 😅
We have dryer as well but we have made it stationary in his own shed we have shed for dryer and on side shed for two trailers full of grain i can send u a picture if u wont. Ours is diesel powerd we spining it with Zetor 7341 ( 80hp) or Zetor 7245( 68hp) and that is on idle ours is 8 ton dryer that is one dump
Deadly..somthing to pass a bit of time at work
Great video Phil. Enjoyed watching 👍🏼
Great video yet again Phil and Co! Love watching the videos as there’s always something different going on 👍🏻 Hope the dryer keeps up the good work!
Great video Phil you will soon get your mullet dried with that 😂 remember to keep your 6270 well blown out incase she overheats
Great Job Philip
Keep a tight eye on the bottom bearing on the auger going up the centre of the grain dyer. Keep it regularly greased.
Nice video from you guys getting the dryer sorted. Hey almost 78k subscribers!
Nice one Phil
As my first cousin, Pat Hayden(R.I. P. 26/07/23) farmer and agri contractor Lucan and Dunsany, would say "Nothing is impossible, some things just take a bit more time"
This seems to be father Phil's approach to problems also
Nice video lads the weather will probably settle now
That a loud ould yoke
While you have Massey Farmer Phil will never be idle 🤔
That'll be if great help.
Great video Phil it’s a great yoke make a huge difference to you
No doubt Father Phil would get it together 👍🏻
are you going to put in some grain silo's?
We’ve been having a lot of oil leaks on our jcb tm 200 as we’ll this year
wonder did they do something with the oil when prices were so high and tis getting to the users now
Great videos as always lad
Are you going to the ploughing
Great video
Hi lad great video as usual not much room for that machine but yous got it going fair play to ye
good idea getting one o these even if she is a bit vintage but it keeps it simple and easy to use. in a year like his it will pay for its self once you get the set-up right.
You will obviously note better ways to do things once you are up and running but just a couple of things i ca see already.
Can you work it from the other side of the wall? and store in the side where the dryer is?
Reason i ask is with the way the intake is turned could you put it to the other side and come to the auger at right angles with a trailer or the loader. I see you already open the barriers at this side so could you drive in that way. Might mean you have less grain falling on the ground. and under the dryer.
It's a long way up but it is longer down
👌
Lot of things going on, stay safe :)
There wouldn't be a rat left in the place 😂😂
Cracking job
Job for the zetor
Man, that's a wicked hair style you have there!
LOL 😂
Any reason ye don’t use one of the other 30 tractors to run it? 😅
Great video Phil 👌👍called to you last week didn't get to meet ya bought some merch and steak and burgers went down well on the bbq 😋 as we were camping over a few days from a tipperary fan
👍
Good video xxx
Great❤❤❤
Could you drive that with the 35
Phil did ye do any more on a gps fert spreader ?
I wouldn't be standing to near that yoke when she started 1st 🙈🙈
not setting a very good safety standard using a pallet
I'd be more concerned with the tractor driving it inside the shed😂😂 those things are known to go on fire the odd time. How are they going to be able to get the tractor out quick if it goes up?
Ah sure what harm would it do sure it is only a Massey 😂
I think an auger to get the grain covered with propion acid would be much easier and less expensive.
Would the zetor drive it
Oisin should pay Ratso
How much tonnes will it dry in a hour the intake looks small
👍👍🙏🙏🇨🇮🇨🇮👌👌
