Project Mugen is also up there if Naked Rain and Net Ease doesn't fumble the bag and get greedy like Net Ease always does.

Jiyan and Yinlin are very accessible for f2p players (you reroll the first and basically spark the second or lose and 50/50 Jinshi).
I would personally hold the expectations not to the June (in July) report but to the July one (in August), by that point honeymoon is over, currency is dry and ZZZ combat is out. That’s the real test for me.

I guess the new trails gacha didn't do well then. I don't really know if I wanted it to do well. Absolutely love the single player titles from the trails series and want them to keep making more but I did love the trails of cold steel games so guess it would of been nice if the gacha did well but meh. The trails series single player games were already fairly niche I don't really understand why they thought if they made a gacha on the characters it would pop off. Wish they would of spent to money on making a new single player title instead. A bad attempt at breaking into the gacha market for a niche franchise can often kill it off which would be very sad to lose trails like that.
I'm surprised Higan: Eruthyl died so fast considering EVERY content creator was so hype about it-- guess it goes to show free advertisement (youtubers) doesnt make a good game

idk man but i think solo leveling is gonna short lived. anime base gatcha is really hard to do in a long run,
not to mention its very P2W, exp & gold are hard to get unless you drop money. I honestly would have prefered a single player Souls like RPG retelling of the Manwa where we get to play Jin Woo.

@@user-zf1bb5pe8w also combine that with after they run out of the Known Manwa characters they're bringing in "OC's" which can be tricky as to make them popular they're gonna need to power creep the already established ones...and you can't predict how fans will react to that
@@Nightscream452 That's the issues with anime gacha games, very limited characters they have, they either re-use the character with a different type and design, or risking with the OC character which isn't in the original story, and that can lose many magna/anime fans because it will makes they believe it's a different story from the original, not to mention there really isn't many well know characters in solo leveling that are super powerful ( around 30 that we know by name that are S rank, rest don't even get mentioned ) and famous.
As long as they attract the big spenders it will survive.
I'm glad AL is getting some good revenue. It's my favorite gacha game and I'm not ready for it to go away!

Every time you say that the bottom five should 100% be avoided, but I'm still enjoying Artery Gear: Fusion and I will keep playing until it shuts down, and considering they recently did a collab event, I don't think that's happening soon

The only no brainer that they were going to do bad and msot prob will EOS is one punch man world, if they had dialed back their monetization than it could have survived, I don't get why these companies don't learn from their previous mistakes and understanding that implementing big monetization will do the exact opposite for what they hope for which are profits and will actually kill the game off, it's mind boggling that they don't understand/learn from this.
It's a shame that good games like artery gear and tact symphony have or will die off, they're good games it's just there are already really good games out there that are grabbing most of the industry's players and that's Honkai Star Rail along with some other high quality games.
I play Solo Leveling because I like the anime and it is a surprise that after the ultra incredible promotion that wuwa received: Solo leveling wins??? I expected much more, but let's wait until the end of the month. I don't play wuwa but it's a necessary competitor in today's gacha environment.

I enjoyed Solo Leveling in the beginning, but its kinda fallen off because of how difficult it is to level as a free to play player. After doing your Daily Claim & the Gates...unless you spend money to boost how much exp you earn in both...you're waiting days to reach the next level to unlock the next story quest

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but there's no data showing that Solo leveling made 100 million but it was projected/estimated to. There is data though that they did make 41 mil on mobile.
it was in a bunch of news articles you can look them up. it's the same for wuwa where it made 54mil if you include pc revenue. even genshin on launch I think had 60mil on phone but when you include pc it was 250mil. PC generally is more unreliable and prone to changes so sensory tower just focuses on phone.

still way better than the cringe i had in genshin. But, you do you, because HSR is worth the hype it has.
That makes absolutely no sense... you want to play a heavy story focused game only when you can skip the *cringe* story? In that case...why even bother playing it? Only to auto play the 2 endgame modes for 20min once a week? There are so many brain dead games out there without any story ,where you don't have to hear, read or use your brain. That would probably a better choice for you.

I really do not understand the hype over Wuthering Waves. Everything it does just feels like a (slightly) worse version of Genshin Impact. People keep gushing about the combat but really, it's not something spectacular. It's just trying to be different from Genshin in that one respect just so it can claim it's different. It's still not good. It might be good if it didn't have to have character switching like Genshin to justify it being a gacha game. Everything else about it just to be a Genshin system but more complicated just for the sake of being more complicated.
I also don't feel like it has a good onboarding process and this is the worst problem the game has. It plops you in an open world which encourages exploration but then it has things right next to where you start that are locked behind skills that you do not obtain until you progress further in the story. Which, okay, it's not like Genshin gave you Amber right out of the gate and you need her (or a fire and archer character) to complete many challenges but you recruit Amber very early on. I keep progressing through the very boring story in Wuthering Waves and I got the Amber variant but she's not enough to complete exploration tasks in the game. You would think she could fire fire at the bushes right next to the starting spot but you can't. You need your telekinesis skill which is still locked for me so I have to keep marking things on the map to come back to later and I have no desire to progress through the story to do it. People complain about needing to switch out characters to solve puzzles in Genshin impact and Wuthering Waves seems to have heard that criticism and created this new system to bypass that but it really just makes everything worse. The game is not clear on how you are meant to solve any of these puzzles early on and yet it is incredibly easy to get to these unsolvable puzzles as soon as you start the game. From what I remember of the starting area in Genshin, they rolled out puzzle types slowly and I never reached a puzzle I couldn't solve. The story was also interesting enough to keep going to unlock the things I needed once I reached that puzzle thing. It's just a very bad experience unless you exclusively focus on the story quests for however long it takes you to unlock everything you need to properly do anything.
Another thing is that right when you start the game, you reach that area with the dragon statue and see two of their version of the anemoculus on the minimap and you think, "what's that on the minimap? I should go investigate." but you can't because they just slapped an invisible wall on top so you can't exit the starting area. It just seems like they created the map and then picked a starting place at random afterwards. You just do not feel like you have the freedom you have when starting Genshin even though the traversal system could be called better in Wuthering Waves (though it is very janky and needs a lot of polish.) All in all, it seems like a 5/10 and just a worst version of Genshin in every way. If they had broken away more and tried to do their own thing and created a decent combat system (not just a decent one for a gacha game because you can just spam everything and be fine), it might be better.
Anyways, you asked what gacha game I'm currently playing RIGHT NOW and it's still Genshin. Every time I turn on Wuthering Waves, it just makes me desperately want a new expansion to come to Genshin that I can 100% because they are a joy to explore and to figure out the new mechanics in that area. Very rarely does it railroad you as hard as Wuthering Waves is trying to do. I don't care about your story Wuthering Waves. All you've done by forcing me to complete it is to make me not want to play the game, especially since after two fights, nothing happens for who knows how long. I will never know because I'll probably uninstall the game.
Even though I've been thoroughly enjoying my time with Wuthering Waves, I agree with you.
The aspect of exploration in Genshin is definitely still best in class, and that's without the fancy parkour. It's mostly to do with the world actually having very compelling points of interests, fun and varied puzzles, and just cool things to see and do everywhere.
All that on top of the game world being absolutely gorgeous-- screensaver worthy shots from every angle. And I don't even need to mention the music.

If it's a Genshin copy, it's a bad game...but if it is not like Genshin it's also a bad game. People should really make up their mind. If you guys think Genshin is so much better in everything than just play the game and let other play what they like. I have played Genshin for over 3 years, but it has been getting more and more boring and childish for my taste. I really like WuWa and even if it's extremely similar to Genshin, it feels also a lot more darker and for a more mature player base. Also i don't think it's makes everything worse than Genshin...Genshin has a lot of problems on it's own for years + devs who don't listens.

Tbh why blue archive couldnt beat fgo and other big gacha game is that the game is too generous and character is too easy to use their full potential
Take genshin for example, some characters had to have multiple copies of them in order to play them comfortably, plus their weapons too so thats more money spent to roll for them
FGO on the other hand, terrible rates thus costing more money to pull
Blue archive let you unlock the characters' full potential after you obtained them (considering if you have enough materials to do so) so pulling multiple copies are meaningless, plus the devs constantly gives you free pulls per 2-3updates (even more pulls on big updates)
In the end, the point im trying to make is Blue Archive have not constantly trying to promote content that wants players to spend money and just want to make good content, as oppose to other gacha game that use paywall to force player to spend money in every way possible so that the gameplay experience could be comfortable
I just hope to God that Kuro doesn't let's the Yinlin banner success get over their head and completely disregard the future male characters
Even if they might not be as popular as female characters, they DO sell and DO have a good sizeable amount of players who wanna pull for them. Neuvillette, Zhongli and Jing Yuan are one of the many examples
From what I heard, the male characters released in PGR's pretty bad as we get only 1 male for every 3 females.
Even if the male characters don't bring in as much money as the female characters do, they still bring in a good amount
As such, alienating the male lovers is MASSIVELY gonna cut down on the amount of money they can make. They make less money and the male lovers don't get the characters they want. Everybody loses
I hope Kuro thinks very carefully about this and don't just bend the knee to all the demands fans have.
They need to realize that while feedback is important, their vision is equally important as well. They can't keep on listening to everything the fans say, or else the game will lose the idenity and vision THEY had

I have a feeling that it's going to be 1 male to every 3rd female. I know we have Jinhsi and Changli coming up right after Yinlin, but hopefully Geshu Lin is planned.
