And this is why she is my favorite human being, ever. (If she’s 100% human 😀) It’s amazing how you can love someone you’ll never meet with all your heart. Crazy. I love how her parents are just beaming with pride. It’s very beautiful. You nailed it with what her purpose is in life, Jeff. I envy people who know their purpose. I’m 48 and still searching for what mine is. 😞 Great reaction as always, my friend. ❤️

I agree “if she is even human” lol. I feel she is at least a spiritual savant. I love how she’s always talking about how she used to be here in a different form of life. (Bird, lion, flower, tree etc) but like I believe she remembers that. And how she see’s music in colors. Some might say “spectrum” I just know I can’t speak of a more inspiring and beautiful soul.

Another very genuine reaction Jeff. I haven't come across another artist who consistently writes such brilliant lyrics on sensitive, emotional and important issues as Aurora. Yet she manages it at such a young age and in a language that is not her first. Her performances despite the venue and audience size, are always stellar, thanks also to the amazing artists who have been in her band over her journey thus far. To cap it all off, Aurora has such an amazing personality and she is more fun than a box full of kittens.

I just wanted to make the point that, aside from it being a truly remarkable performance, I absolutely love that Ane Brun stuck around to catch the whole show. (She was wearing the rainbow coloured jacket standing next to the host, Christine.) A lot of artists would have shown up for their own performance, for some free PR, and then ducked out immediately after. But Ane seemed to really enjoy Aurora's performance and was there because she wanted to be there.

I felt so much emotions in that first song. I remembered the passing of my mother, and really let the tears flow without holding back for the first time. Second song I then cried again, for my wife endured almost half the year in pain the last ten years. Things are better now but it was hard for her. I can only thank her for enduring and loving me and our two kids. I think I repented of the days I got depressed, for she must have felt depression to the 100th scale. That is how this young lady can sing reflections of our lives. 3rd song I had to leave home due to threats against my life, and the year this song released I felt a desire to go home. When I got home all the threats were gone. Reflections into our lives. That is Aurora the fifth element. That shot of her in the middle of the woods like mother earth telling us all to stop and look around. Simply observe the plights of our fellowmen and in essence the world, for we cannot eat money. This is why I know there is a God, for he sends angels to heal the world.

Aurora's parents can be proud, really proud of her. And, it seems that they are :). And that they are hapy.
As Aurora seems to be a gift for all of us.
Yes, I think she could heal the world. At least she tries, as she sings.
And one thing is certain, she is changing us, all of us who are lucky enough to listen and see her. There are many comments about this, just in this concert.
But I believe that all these are things that you have already got, and that you transmit in your own way, with your words and your emotions.
I can't wait to see your first reaction to your discovery of her, if I find it.

I love it when you show emotions, like Aurora sings “you can cry”❤️

As a Dane who - by history - share the Scandinavian language, and of Nordic Heritage (my dad was from Finland and I have cousins in Scandinavia) I can tell that Aurora at 35.05 says: "Do not forget to have big dreams. That is very important." Btw - I really enjoy your responses to Aurora. You might have some Nordic heritage within 😊 and remember, Nordic or not, do not forget to have big dreams. That is very important.

Jeff, just circling back from your Angelina Jordan reactions. Aurora is about 10 years older than Angelina, but they are both products of the same culture. The Norwegian education system has permitted and encouraged them both to express themselves as artists, not suppress their individuality as happens in so many other cultures, especially to girls. They were both gifted introverts, which in other societies might have marked them as misfits. They both decided, at a very early age, that they wanted to bring a message of universal love to the world and harnessed their singing ability to create a public platform which allows that. Maybe it's something in the water ... ? 🎶🙂🇦🇺 R (Australia)

    Aloha Brother!
Started watching your channel a few ago and really liked your input and honesty and wealth of knowledge. I’m a huge music fan. But because I never liked to pigeonhole myself into only one or two genres(I love ANY tune that moves my spirit…no matter the genre it came from, or that some critics have locked it into…or that it is in the top 40 or not). It is why I’ve never really had someone (friend etc) that I could really talk MUSIC to…..REAL music.
So, long story short…after giving in to my prejudices over reaction channels(first reaction channel I ever learned about was one day seeing my two sons and my two nephews all crowded around my sons laptop watching this young dude PLAY A VIDEO GAME🤦🏽‍♂️😢😳….the SAME $60 video game I bought one of them for Christmas. I just never got the whole deal of reaction channels.
Until I saw two teens’ reaction video of a Bee Gee’s classic “Too Much Heaven” and were truly having their minds blown to smithereens.
After a few more reaction vids, all on music of my youth and young adult years(70’s and 80’s)…it became clearer to me of the attraction to them.
Being a music lover and finishing up my long awaited passion in the Arts and earning my degree in Art and Music History at University of Hawai’i(where I also work), I’ve mostly find myself moving toward music vid reactors with some kind of knowledge or background connected to the arts…..in addition to you, I have subscriptions with a few very solid vocal coaches(my ultimate fave is FAIRY VOICE MOTHER…but there’s a few more that have REALLY great knowledge on singing…but, I go back to them because they REALLY are great at breaking it down in layman’s terms. I’ve really learned a lot that has helped better my own singing voice some)…there’s another channel that the reactor is an up and coming actor and has behind the camera experience and has nice input. But, these are what makes up 80% of all I’m subscribed to.
FAIRY VOICE MOTHER was the channel where I actually “discovered” the voice that has really inspired me in ways I’ve NEVER thought could possible been done after she was breaking down AURORA’s Nobel Peace Prize performance of “Runaway”. (I’m actually surprised you haven’t reacted to this performance yet, only “Murder Song”. Up until I saw that performance, another Norway gem you know, Angelina Jordan, and her live performance of the classic “Bohemian Rhapsody” had been the greatest live performance of any generation. Prior was EAGLES’ “Hotel California”…..Angelina’s BR…STILL makes me tear up when I watch it. But something about her compatriot that just moves me with, literally, every performance. Studio recording or live.)
Anyway…I really enjoy your channel and great to see someone share their experience and vast knowledge with others. Especially seeing you get emotional EXACTLY at the same places of song that I have gotten emotional too. But, especially, again…with Aurora. It is mind boggling, for myself at least, how witty, aware of her surroundings, respectful, non-apologetic, spiritually in tuned with nature and people. Her interviews(which I’ve find myself searching for next one daily) are so captivating and engaging. Again, always respectful of who she is interviewing her, and that includes a few that have tried to use her as one to make fun of or tease to get a few laughs for their listeners. But, it was VERY humorous how she, intellectually, ran a circle around the one guy that he looked confused for a good several minutes after. 😆. She is sooooooo great in those interviews.
But, love how she’ll ponder the questions if she needs the time to respond to them with what SHE wants to be known from HER pov. And, she’ll take the time she thinks it needs to come up,with that answer. She won’t rush it.
It also amazes me when she is performing live and while singing she’ll belt some beautiful notes…whether it’s a high and powerfully majestic note like a mountain top…or light as a feather breathy one that makes the hair on my arms stand on end and appear so fierce confident and fearless…..yet, just about every time she ends each live song, she shows her adorably shy smile, almost as if she wants to run and hide under the covers until the next song starts. And her voice has such a shy, mousey tone when speaking in between songs. But, one should never mistaken all of this for someone who is meek and unsure of what is going on.
I’ve started to learn piano once again…started exploring writing songs again…realized my introverted and quirky ways was ok. So many of the “ticks” she does on stage or way she speaks and acts in interviews had me welling up because they were stuff I have gotten massively teased throughout my lifetime…by friends, which was bad enough, but things you’d expect to have to deal with. But, within my own household, growing up ESPECIALLY, and a lot of it from the man I looked up to, my dad. So, for years and years, I created a facade that more or less worked to keep me moving somewhat forward in life. Yet, still never felt free to express myself ESPECIALLY in my true love…music. I mean it was stuff like whenever I’d play an Alabama song and he’d pass by my room or yell from the living room “..turn off that sh*t kickin’ music..” or, when my brother or sister would sing, say, Christmas carols for our mom or family, he’d howl like a wolf or dog OUT LOUD from the beginning of the song until the last note or songs we did. It didn’t matter that family or family friends would try to graciously and politely say to him,”…hey, they sound really nice, John…don’t be like that…”. But🤷🏽‍♂️…that’s just how he was. So, I quit trying thinking we/I ACTUALLY did suck and should never try again…no matter HOW MUCH I loved music and that something inside me lit up whenever I was around rhythms. First time I ever held an instrument (other than a xylophone and a triangle in elementary music class, was as an 21 year old I stationed in Germany…and that changed my life and inspired me to learn to play an instrument…ANY instrument.
Aurora is such an inspiration and beacon for all who feel like they’re unworthy, depressed, unwanted, weird and, worst of all….unloved. You can feel her sincerity when she speaks. Which we know well that it is not always the case in this day and age. She written and composed some very important songs, imho, where the message is so badly needed in these times. As you know, and mentioned too,….her “A Different Kind of Human” really is deep and just an amazing tune. And, as many great messages in many of her songs….”The River” is one that is one that many men I would hope get to listen to…REALLY LISTEN TO….set aside the whole machismo cycle that has been passed down from generations and generations before, and breathe in the message….intelligently soak into their minds….and act on it the next time there comes a big blow in their lives and get that urge to internalize that pain once again which only builds up and into bodily and inner organs poison.
Of course, we aren’t saying to turn into a blithering crying whiner type of person, and cry about every little, small things. Q😁
Again, thank you for sharing and will def’ hook up,on your Patreon page. Well worth it. Looking forward to your reaction and thoughts on Aurora’s Nobel Peace Prize’ “RUNAWAY” LIVE. performance. And, also, your reaction to her music video for “The River”. Great story telling through visuals in that one too. As all Aurora videos are.
Take care and much Aloha, Brother 🤙🏾🎼🎶🎵✌🏾

Please excuse me. I'm very late.
The contact to the fans and the feedback is of course important to AURORA. Like every artist. But here, in her forest, her "living room". This is definitely something special. AURORA obviously felt very comfortable in this forest. Is there a better place for AURORA to showcase her music?
She is so close to the fans or the fans to her. It's such an intimate vibe. WOW.
You know better than that. How often does this happen to an artist and does it happen to all artists?
The song "Daydreamer" still gives me every single time goosebumps.
I would like to thank the broadcaster very much for giving AURORA and us this documentary with this very extraordinary concert.

20:01 oh wow.....that little melismatic melodic run she did on the word "day" was quite unexpected to my ears.
I don't think I've ever heard her do that the other times I've seen her play this song. Really loved that!
She is a genuine musical genius....she has _so_ much control....but also a level of creative confidence that is pretty thrilling to watch happen in real time. She seems to have a deeply intuitive understanding of the emotional power of certain intervals, chords, melodic motifs, etc.... Considering she never formally studied music, it's pretty clear she was born with a pretty high level of innate musicality.

I don't think she really cares too much to be called an Angel but at least for me, she is!
