- In this video i have reviewed Btwin In Ride 500 home trainer. It is a good investment to make if you want to cycle at home.
It is a cycling home trainer which you can use with any kind of bike from 26" to 28" be it a road bike, mountain bike or a hybrid bike.
It works on fluid technology and you can use it with a basic cycling computer as well to measure your efforts.But if you want to make it smart you have to use sensors like speed,cadence and heart rate belt. Then connect to smart cycling computer or an app.

I'm using inride 500 with my 29" MTB. The trick here is, I'm using a separate 28" rear wheel with the trainer tyres. This gives the necessary ground clearance for my rear tyre as well as no need of tyre raiser for my front tyre since it is already at a higher level ;)
So all those with 29" MTBs you can use Inride 500.

Fine video. But do checkout something for the voice volume. It gets overpowered by the music in the middle and in general, is pretty low.

Hi, in terms of maintenance nothing done over the years except keeping it clean and covered when not in use. And it is working fine.

It is compatible with 29". I'm using it on a Scott MTB with 29x2.15 tyres no problem
why don't make a specific video on your trainer for all 29 MTB riders to clear the confusion.

Arbind Prasad yes you can use the bike on both the trainers and if you get 26 inches trainer tyre why not go for it.

Does this trainee work on Specialized Diverge e5 ? My gravel bike has through axle and not quick release which we normally find on road bikes.

Yes we can the grip will not be as good as of a trainer tire and it will create more sound

Hi I have an Rockrider st50 by BTWIN it's an MTB and I just ordered the inride 500. Now when I checked with decathlon they said it's compatible just the tyre will wear out early. You can always get a new tyre. What do you think? Do I need to change the tyre or it's fine with the tyre already mounted

@@GorakshnathDorge I took it to a Firefox shop and they replaced the back hub with a quick release hub. It should now work with this device. Yet to buy the device though.

let me give you an advice which can potentially save your life. Don't put your cycle on the balcony, because if by any chance the tire slips from the stand, it'll suddenly pull you forward and you may fall from the balcony. Thank me later :)
Intelligence at heights. Breaks are given for such scenario. And since the cycle is not in motion even if the tire slips the movement will be slow as it takes force to start. Sometimes physics classes helps. 😀
