Snow Storm Time Lapse

3 Day shoot of a snow storm on February 9th through 11th. This was shot in Voorhees, NJ with Canon T1i (roughly 1000 stills were used for this video).

If this is 11 years ago, why is the quality so good?

The reason for this "good quality" is that it was captured as images, not video. Each of the 1000+ photos was shot at 4752 × 3168 (15.1 megapixels) resolution and when combined it looks as good if not better than 4k video.
