Moin Jim! Cheers, a good Gin Tonic is the best drink for summer evenings! I’m a big fan of these little Butter Beans. I doubt that I ever need a bigger knife at the office. With the finger guards the Mora is a cool knife for kids. It looks like a mini sword! 😉 Best regards, Claus

Funny, it isn’t always the latest, greatest, fanciest knife that we get hung up on. Of all mine, my Pusser’s Dirk I got when I was 7 or 8 is still my most prized knife.
I've been lucky enough to be able to add some very nice knives to my collection, but it's always the stories that make the knife special not simply how fancy it is :-)

Looks like you enjoyed that G&T ! I agree with you about not needing larger pocket knives for general EDC ( work EDC may be different though ). I like to have a bit extra utility though. So as I've no doubt mentioned many times I carry a small Victorinox Tinker. I do own some of the larger modern knives, and I quite like them. But I find their size irritates me when I want to get something out of the same pocket as they are in. So I only carry them if I'm taking some kind of bag out with me and they go in that. I prefer the traditional knives though, so they don't go out with me that often.
The much under rated Butterbean. Nice to see them getting their moment in the spotlight. I haven't seen the dreaded green bottle of death in many years. The stuff they commonly sell here is 47.3%. I had a bad experience with said stuff when I was young as you do and haven't been able to tolerate even the smell of it since. gives me the shivers just seeing that bottle again. Case knives always seem to be priced at a premium. That might be why I don't have a Case knife in my collection. I do like those butterbeans though.
