    I like how he only uses elbow grease and hard work, no dipping in chemicals or attaching electricity. Great workmanship .

    I enjoyed this as many items can be fixed better than new with time and persistence! From a retired school shop teacher. Little money to buy new so we had to fix our tools in house. Good luck with future projects. A+ grade on this one.

    I’ve had one of those, late 70s. It was used to strip electrical wire. Bought it at the electrical supply store...commercial.

    Вот это я понимаю проверка ножа. Стеклом проверяют твёрдость, а продуктами остроту и удобство. Если не секрет, из чего сделана шпилька на которой лезвие поднимается?

      This rasp file is a Swedish Eskilstuna, I believe it is for shoemakers. Fits very nice in hand and it is a pleasure to use it. One of my favorite files...

    A polish firm called Gerlach used to make the same kind of pocket knives for electricians for a long period of time. The groove at the begining of the blade was ment to take off wire isolation. Greetings from Poland.

    En fait de couteau de poche, c'est un couteau d'électricien, la demi-lune sert pour dénuder les fils et donc n'est pas utilisé pour la cuisine !

      Thank you! I haven't found much info about this pocket knife but I believe it is a gardening pocket knife. For pruning and crafting, they usually look like this one. If anyone knows more I would love to hear it! I Appreciate watching 👍

      Алексей, I wanted to keep the original handle but there was several issues along the way. Maybe I haven't represented very well in the video... I don't want to make videos showing problems, point is to get smooth entertaining videos. Anyway I kept the original handle and I will probably try to fix it at some point. Thanks for feedback, always happy to hear and learn on mistakes!
