  • So, I decided to chop up my 47 UL and build a chopper. I think it turned out great but theres still some improvements to be made.

A cool, true, old school chopper: using OEM parts, and parts off from other bikes, rebuilding and modifying what you happen to have stashed away. I had an acquaintance back in the 70s who was walking through a junkyard one day, and found a 1937 ULH lying on its side. He bought the bike, with the title, for $150 from the junkyard, brought it home, and built a bike similar to what you're building. Thanks for the breath of fresh air, and keep the videos coming.

I love in depth informational videos like this, you can tell that you really know what you're talking about and I like how you take the time to explain it. Good shit

I really dig the bike man ! That's a sweet machine for sure. I'd put a carb on it and a head light in the bucket and the other little stuff to make it road worthy and ride the wheels off of it.

Imagine that V-Twin imported parts crapping out? You never hear about that happening.

  • @thomaskirkpatrick4031

Man oh man. When the factory designed a system, they took into account that the owners of these machines had a quite a bit of mechanical knowledge, and were capable of working on their own bikes.

Great bike! It's a good idea to run a front brake. Ride safe.
