- It's Christmas time once again in London and the Watch are ready for action. From crashing appliances, to crashing cars, the fellas are really put to the test. and as for Josie? Well just ask Bayleaf...
Note: I apologize for the low framerate and quality of this episode as the software I used to convert it did not properly render to the quality I was expecting. Regardless, I hope you enjoy the special, and Happy Holidays wherever you may be!
It’s now an acceptable time to watch it, no distractions, decorations up, I’m gonna enjoy myself
I’ve love the this episode, so many fun things happened, especially “The Sub Has Got No Eye Brows”
😂
The only London’s Burning Christmas special and the last episode to feature the classic turnout gear i.e the black woollen tunic and yellow plastic leggings
It's a shame it was so unsafe, it looked rather nice and the yellow leggings served their function well (visibility). They should create a modernised version.
@@xaviert.123 I can't believe the gloves they were issued were no better then a rubber gloves that gardeners used or bin lorry driver and his crew would use, extremely poor.
@@kd84afc And as far as I know, BA was in very limited use until around the Kings Cross Fire era. While the North Americas used bunker kit, we were stuck with wool that would get heavy from water, was flammable, and melting leggings. Remarkable isn't it?
This is how life in London should be, hardly any resemblance to Christmas now , love this episode and everything about it , the jokes, the banter, no woke crap, real people ,real life issues , merry Christmas everyone - Christmas Day 2022 !!!
I can’t speak for London, but I live in the Scottish highlands and even up here things have changed so much in the last 30 years and a lot of it feels like a bad change. I was in primary school when Londons Burning started and I loved it. It’s great being able to watch it again on here 👍🏻
RIP Kim Clifford (Sandra Hallam) passed away in 2019.
And James Hazeldine (Bayleaf) passed away in 2002
*DING DONG MERRILY ON HIGH, THE SUB HAS GOT NO EYEBROWS!*
It’s like Sicknote was planning the whole thing even when they didn’t expect to see George
I love the title screen’s singing moment, it’s so relaxing and getting ready for the special
Cheers for Uploading, Really enjoy watching this around Crimbo.
15:01 😂😂 never heard alright been used so many times in the same conversation
One of the episodes Charisma really got to shine, when he was showing the dangers of those dodgy toys.
Happy Holidays from 2023!
shame that the only Xmas special that they did
Best time to watch this is during christmas
I had a mission this Christmas to watch this sometime during the holiday season
Pity we don't get programmes of this calibre at Christmas any more.
Happy Holidays? I think you'll find the phrase is 'Merry Christmas' - don't be afraid to use it.
"Happy Holidays" is an American term, never to be used outside the US. I hate that expression.
I love this when i was kid i was ten then and now 42 still like it 🤫🤫🤫
One of the best
️Josie was Gorgeous.❤️
Charisma reminds me of Sid from Toy Story
magic. like a step back in time. 1990s
I think this episode was from 1988 or 1989.
88............
@@no15minutecities Yeah, it first aired Xmas 1988, it was shown again the following year on Saturday December 23rd.
Sound is good.
Who was the driver on the subs appliance because I can’t make out who it was because Vaseline was at the shout originally same with bayleaf charisma sicknote and tony was at home celebrating and on the subs appliance was himself Malcom josie and Kevin but they were all never drivers
Probs had 2 reverse Firefighters (what Tony was)
Probably Kevin drove because if I'm not mistaken he drives when all the drivers are on one wagon
@@kylekane08 Reserve firefighter! :0)
probably Sicknote
Sicknote had kids in this but none later in the series
Anyone know the track at 57:05
What on earth is Marion doing on the floor?!
33:19 enya
like a step back in time to 1989?
terrible video quality
