While I spent a long time thinking of a complete list of TRTB identification methods and how they could be achieved without opponent intervention, I must have overlooked some. If you find one I failed to include, please comment it below. Let me know if you have any suggestions or topics you would like me to cover in another video.

True Blue sees the arena (X/Y plane) as it actually is. True Red sees the arena rotated 180 degrees. These interaction differences were likely caused by rounding of fractional X/Y values.
I think you could really get big if you keep up on this educational kind of Clash Royale content because that niche is really missing in the community. A channel dedicated to techs and educating the player base on dmg numbers and card interactions. Like how Gratz(Despite how weird he is for interacting with minors)filled in the video documentary niche in the community.

@@byeudhllau1442 exactly. I can’t remember which is which but on one of the true red true blue position u put it on left side of king, on the other right side of king.

This is awesome, I would recommend being a little more fast paced and reducing repetition I.e.barbarian hit and furnace and such should be grouped and mentioned together as one type of difference as they act the same

no problem!@@-Milo one more thing is for intros I might recommend having a bit of moving video play as B-roll in the background to grab our painfully short attention spans. of course you might not want to go too far into the "grab attention" route though, its just that a still image held for long can feel disengaging
This explains a lot, and I always suspected this was the case, but I didn’t realize there was a way to tell. Makes a lot of weird interactions make sense now though
It's kinda like life, you always think you're right and tht the other is wrong, but only with the act of questioning one's own self and environment can one become aware if they're actually right.

It's an interesting thing that shows up in basically every 1v1 strategy game. It's a thing in btd battles too, although it doesn't change interactions to my knowledge due to the nature of the game
I think that if both players lose at the same time, the left one wins, so there is a difference.

I know that hog riders wont target the middle building if its a 2x2 (like tesla) and placed in the middle of the arena, so this can be helpful, i just have to figure out which is true red and which is true blue for my opponent to know if hog rider does go or doesnt go for the tower when placed left/right of the arena

Crusher 21 uploaded a video about this topic regarding Goblin Drill: If you play it directly in the middle of your side of the Arena, the direction the Goblins run to determines what side you are: if they run to the left, you're True Red, and if they run to the right, you're True Blue
Edit: Rewatched his video, and realized I had the directions swapped, so I fixed it

Interesting how this affects asymmetrical troop placements so much! I would much rather all micro interactions caused by this quirk be completely predictable regardless of your side, but for the mean time... are there any notable ones that could completely change a game?
edit: Saw your miner video. I guess I should ask then, could your map orientation affect attempting to defend a goblin barrel based on some cards? I've noticed I'm always inconsistent with goblin gang barrel defense :(

I played a game back in the day where I was red and the other guy was blue, not sure if it looked swapped for him too. Another game I could only place on his side and he could only place on mine, that was weird

Maybe, but I’m pretty sure most of the time it’s because the firecracker had her shot loaded from a previous interaction

(eg. Can you conclude that the perspective you are watching is true red if you see many clouds while spectating?)
Great question, when you spectate someone you’ll see the map the same as they see it. So if they are True Blue, you won’t see many shadows, and neither will the person you are spectating. (Assuming you are in the Arena it works in).
@@-Milo I saw a clip yesterday where both players were afk in a duel and true red won with 1 hp! Add that to the list of useless facts you know XD

@@Poff__ in a duel if both players have their lowest tower at the same health and the game ends, there will be a coin flip which randomly decides a winner.

What does true blue or true red do?
Nothing it just means that you’re either good or bad red is bad blue is good
some interactions may change, like the ones shown in the videos. Another thing is countering the goblin drill with a knight. iirc, if you are true blue you can fully counter it, but if you are true red the goblin will get 1 hit on the tower
EDIT:there is or was something with the goblin drill about true red/blue, I cant be certain if what I wrote is exacly that or is up to date
That is so useful holy, knowing this dutchess can consistently fully counter goblin barrel with any 1 elixir unit, just tank for the goblin that will be targeted last, i was wondering why this interaction was so random

You have to predict drill placement to not take damage if you’re true blue, but you don’t have to if you’re true red
I am not sure if thats still true, I think the goblin position spawn position was fixed

Why the whole video is so long? I think you could easily shorten the video in half by categorizing the signs at least the clock-wise troop placement. Which is a good quality change for the viewers.
