Just found your channel due to the Terowie thumbnail, but was intrigued to find out your story. My late dad had macular degeneration and I became his carer in the last 5 years of his life. He did remarkably well..... remaining independent. He did his own cooking and cleaning and had a great garden. I would check things for him ( for health and safety) but only if I felt it was a risk. Like you, he watched telly at close range, I taped up the remote so only the 'necessary' buttons were exposed. His switches ( on the microwave, cd player, washing machine) all had that fluro- orange 'raised gel' on them so he could 'feel' them to use them. So, in short, I admire your 'lust for life' ....your determination to live life to the fullest and enjoy your time as a family.

Hey Ray and Emma .My name is Tony I,am one of your subscribers I live down in Melbourne.I remember all through my life I had trouble understanding things,I found it hard to have an adult conversation and didn't feel as though I was on the same page as them.All through my life I have tinkered with cars motorcycles and other things,I would always ask a mate if I was having trouble with things but I could also sense that they didn't want to really help because some of the stuff was pretty straight forward to do.As I was shown how to do it I never forgot and I noticed my memory was very good,anyway to make this story short in 2019 I found out I am autistic and when I found out ,I looked back over my life and things that had happened started to fit into place ,I now no what I was all about,you are never too old to find out things about yourself even if it takes years of searching.I also suffer schizophrenia and depression and though my mind and memory is not as good now I wish I had the ability to do something good in life .Thanks Ray and Emma for sharing something so private and personal keep up the great vids

Ive lived with a disability since i was 12, a lot of people doubt my illness too. Its good that you have explained for others that might be going through similar, your attitude is great and your strenth to be admired. Your support from Emily wonderful and how special is isobel a credit to you both. Keep on keeping on. Right on for the comment about docs.

Thank you, that means a lot. That's exactly what we try to do. The Jeep has an LS1 motor, we do have a full build video on the Jeep too 😁
I have kertacones, my specialist is now not seeing anyone. But worth a read. Noel Brennan now with Johnson and Johnson. I have seen Dr Robert nave. Bit of a old man but knows his stuff. He said Noel is one of the best.
