  • On August 15th, 2014, Junichi Masuda took to the stage during the first ever showing of Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions to present us with the show's final encore. Though he had composed many of the songs we had heard that night, he had never once conducted before; he exclaimed that he was quite nervous. After briefly discussing the meaning of this song, he took to the podium and began this wonderful performance.

    I like how the clips shown in the video they showed to sync with the song were paced almost exactly like Serena's (a CZcamsr who posted a really well-known and well-done fan dub of this song almost a year ago).
    Probably coincidence.
    But hey, I love this rendition just as much as her's. If there was one small thing I had to gripe about this, it would be the overuse of vibrato in the beginning, but that's more my personal taste than anything.
