Have you hit a tree while riding your dirt bike because you accidentally gave it too much gas and did a wheelie? In this video, you'll learn one simple tip on how not to whiskey throttle a dirt bike.
You'll also learn the #1 reason why beginner dirt bike riders whiskey throttle and crash or fly off course. With a simple change in your riding technique, you'll be able to relax and ride with more control, rather than the bike controlling YOU!
Motocross Hideout is my personal brand to help new riders learn to properly and safely ride a dirt bike so that you don't crash and miss out on life because of an injury. My Virtual Dirt Biker School is an online riding course/camp that teaches anyone new to dirt bikes the basic techniques to stay in control and become a better rider faster. Thanks man. You're doing the lord's work. When I whiskey throttled, I broke my entire shoulder, I ride snowmachines in Alaska so it didn't affect me too badly.
I love snowmachines & I want to love dirt bikes but dirt bikes are just so injury prone. You're making dirt bikes safer
Wow, I'm terribly sorry to hear about your injury!
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with dirt bikes. They can be dangerous, like any machine, but there are lots of people that enjoy trail riding without having a bad accident.
Would like to hear more about your dirt biking journey!
🔥 intro 😂
I rode right in to a tree yesterday hence why im here
Ouch! Was that on your talaria?
me too hahahha
Why you doing that?? 😔
It wasn't my choice hahaha, I am just bad@@MotocrossHideout
@@TRM500Well let's get that fixed! Was this on your CRF300L?
dude i love your vids they help me sooo much thank you!!
Glad to hear that. What's been most helpful for you, Landon?
@@MotocrossHideout i like quite a few but your 3 UNEXPECTED Dirt Bike Riding Tips For More Control In The Woods this video helped a ton because I live on a ranch and do a lot of trail/woods riding
Nice! Thanks for watching, Landon!
@@MotocrossHideout for sure!!
Almost broke my leg doing this
That sounds scary! How'd it happen, Landen?
@@MotocrossHideout I was riding on these like whoop section and ya know you gotta like wheelie through them and all of the sudden it like the throttle is wide open and ( i was already in a wheelie position ) so it flipped out from under me and went down a steep bank, and I landed on my leg wrong.. and what’s funny is that this happened today
And idk if it’s the bike or it’s me but it’s happened multiple times before just not as bad of crashes.. and plus I haven’t ridden in a year sooo
Ah man, sorry to hear that! What bike are you riding? Do you think the throttle might've stuck open?
@@MotocrossHideout ktm 200 xcw, and nah I don’t Even really know what it could be. We’ve checked the whole bike and nothing seems to be wrong.. but me personally I think there smth wrong but it’s all good
gosh that guy on the orange bike that wheelied it too far looks like he has no idea what he is doing.
@jordanlevin8620 If you know who he is, assuming it's a guy, tell him he's welcome to come over and learn a few things. We have an extra KTM that could use some more whiskey throttle. ;)
@@MotocrossHideout no idea... im assuming its a dude, no girl would do something that dumb. I however am a decent trail racer... buuuut could learn a few things. could i take his/her spot?
@jordanlevin8620 you give us guys too much credit! :p
I suppose I could open it up until he or she responds. It's supposed to be warm today and tomorrow and the dirt here is still soft enough to ride ;)
@@jordanlevin8620Uh, clearly you haven’t ridden with many women before. My niece likes to show off and has gotten dumped doing this a few times. She sees me doing a wheelie and was bound and determined she could do it, too. I had to sit her down and go over the safety rules and restrict her riding to get her to stop. She’s a much better rider now, but I still have to remind her at times to take it easy. I never take her riding in woody areas for this reason, there is just too much opportunity for her to get hurt.
