The thanatos card...this one comes out for me a lot when I do past life and mediumship-type readings for other people, other souls that connect with the meanings of that card seem comfortable coming through for me. I almost had a near-death experience when I was 3 but I got lucky, but I do count it as something significant because if someone didn't save me I would have died for sure. My spiritual awakening came out of a very intense and frightening experience, though it was awful I'm so glad for what it lead me to.
