Don't start to smoke because of the idea that it looks cool 😎
Or shooting people.
Or starve yourself.
thats the only reason to ever start smoking tbh
Yes, because the reality isn't a movie with Veronica Lake🥲
Fr the fact that they romanticise it made me worried lmao
My all time favorite femme fatales for some reason are always some kind of secret agents or very skilled assassins: La femme Nikita (Peta Wilson), Wanted (Angelina Jolly), Tomb raider (Angi again).
Me too. She asked what is it within ourselves that we like about these characters. What do you think
@@belleardor4418 I guess, maybe the guts, courage, hard work and being independent. I had to do and achieve a lot of stuff in my life all by myself pretty much. One thing I’m lacking and these women all have it, I think, is discipline. And that’s what’s attracting me in them and, of course, the fact that they’re always so beautiful and confident.
What about you? What do you think?
If Greek goddesses were real you literally who be aphrodite. Your hair and complexion reminds me of hair 🌟 edit: I feel like style can upgrade your whole image. Yes some people are better looking than others but something that can make one stand out is their style and how they carry themselves. Ive seen people who are dropped-dead gorgeous but do not know how to dress and that stole away from their image.
i love the constant evolution of your content! the complex, multifaceted yet quite didactic explanations you always bring fascinates me every video.
the desirable positioning topic was so interesting! i'm quite introverted therefore not the greatest small talker in the world but since i started seeing fashion as a way of communication and applying your content to my personal style even the subjects people randomly suggested have been more consonant with my personal interests, the powers of semiotic applied for individuals shouldn't be as neglected as they're.
i also adore the reflective nature that even your tutorials bring, it's refreshing to see thoughtful approaches and tips in an ocean of tastelessness.
Ready for class!
As always, amazing video! Thank you, Michelle.
Absolutely love this channel. so happy and excited when a new video releases!!!!!!!!
Your take on the femme fatale is quite interesting. One thing to share is that I saw the recap of the movie featuring the woman in the left hand picture, sorry to say I can't find the title anywhere. The story of this woman is the opposite of the femme fatale! The movie shows her as a devoted wife in a small town during war! All the men are obsessed with her and all the women hate her! At one point her husband is enlisted to fight in the war and leaves her alone. A letter arrives telling her that her husband was killed in battle! She is forced to work! The men start being more aggressive in their advances to her including her boss ! She rebuffs him and loses her job! Everyone assumes she seduced him and she can't find work anywhere! Desperate, she turns to prostitution and gains even more attention from the men, this is shown as the scene of her surrounded by a crowd of men with lighters! In the end after some time, she finds out her husband is alive and goes to him. The couple reunite and return to the small town! Age has taken some of the beauty from her and the women accept her though one woman having the last word says "She is still too beautiful! Just thought I'd share!
Monica Bellucci from Malena, beautiful and such a sad movie. Just because she is pretty, she's been through hell...
This works well with personal style, sesonal color on my romantic kibbie style with dark winter color😊
Was looking forward to this analysis, love a femme fatale 🖤✨ stunning and very insightful analysis as always ✨✨
Me: takes notes
Also me: watching this in my pajamas, lounging in bed at 2 am
Very high quality content, please keep sharing. Your education shines through, nice to see this level in a young woman. Thanks for your work.
Like everyone, I've always been intriguied by this archetype, but my Kibbe type is ingenue and I am petite with a high pitched voice and a warm, kind presence, so being a sexy, mysterious woman is something I can only admire, I suppose.
You can be the outspoken sexy kitteny innocent type of femme fatale instead which has ingenue essence. There are bond girls like that but i forgot the name.
@@sainisaha5023 thank you! I will search them up!
@@sainisaha5023Good point. Like Scarlett O'Hara.
I love this trope. It's so addicting ❤
Obsessed with you and your channel
The psychology of desirable positioning
I love your vocabulary.
I was waiting for this...
Being a Theatrical Romantic in Kibbe's system I'm supposedly a (old style) femme fatale. Sadly I haven't been able to get that side of me to come out yet lol But I'm here to learn.
nice video
Who’s the blonde boxer? 🤔
The job pitch analogy was really interesting actually 👍
Like all of your videos, this one is beautifully worded, elegant and explanatory. But I must say, Malèna absolutely does not fit in this category.
Yeah -- while Malena has the aesthetic of the femme fatale, she wasn't one.
Poison Ivy
The myth of the femme fatale is just a character in literature and cinema that has no equivalent in real life. The fictional femme fatale is a very attractive and sensual but also manipulative and sinister woman who leads men to a fatal destiny. In real life the most toxic and manipulative women are not usually attractive, generally the woman who cannot attract men with her physique then does so through manipulation; and their toxicity is due to the fact that they are generally resentful people socially speaking.
There is the archetypal example of the witch who is a socially misfit woman, not at all attractive and who manipulates people by making them believe that she has magical powers.
Narrator not articulating well
Jealous of a beautiful, articulate, young woman are we?
I've noticed that as well. I love Michelle and her channel--the more I watch, the more I want to watch!--but you're right.
I've even noticed her leaving entire syllables out of words...i.e.; in her most recent video (about Euphoria's Cassie), she turned 'infantilizing' into 'infant-lizing'. There was a second word she did the same thing with in that video, but I don't remember the word now.
Maybe Esl?
