How much do you think samsung would charge for dead pixels?

All right, I wouldn't exactly call this video professional, but you can at least see what's on the inside. Keep in mind this video leaves A LOT of things out, so if this is the reference video you are using and it's a first time phone repair for you, I recommend checking a few other tear downs first. As I was sent here by one of my customers that asked me to follow up... I definitely wouldn't rely on some rando video person on CZcams to tell you what's what with part replacement restrictions without cross checking at least Google.
In any model of Samsung S20 and beyond, the fingerprint sensor WILL NOT work, regardless of the part you use. The only successful work around someone found was that Android 9 vs. Android 10 doesn't perform the S/N and/or firmware check that disables it. But that's a temporary fix to a larger issue, eventually you will not be able to use Android 9 any longer down the road. (and have everything else function correctly too)
There is NO WAY, as of yet, to restore that fingerprint sensor unless you send it in to Samsung for repair where they "re-pair" the sensor with the new screen. If you don't use the fingerprint sensor, which is unlikely, then this isn't a huge deal for you, and you can continue to ignore it like you have been. (I use retina personally, but I also have a GS9 too)
Finally, keep in mind that this video is NOT something I would call a professional repair video for a few obvious reasons....
    1. The hands. Wow.. those hands are like baby smooth. Probably haven't seen a hard days work or been near a soldering iron/hot air flow like... ever.
    2. If it's just poor camera quality and not baby smooth hands... why? I mean you're a tech shop right? Getting a half decent camera should be easy and probably a decent idea considering how small some of these parts are.
    3. There is no commentary. This stuff requires explanation. Not just a few words overlaid on a screen.
    4. No static wrist guard. Not that it's a real requirement if you have a grounded mat, but you probably don't want to wear your Samsung watch either, or any watch for that matter.
    5. Telling commenters about ordering from Ebay/Amazon. Ebay should be a last resort for a professional repair shop, and NEVER for Amazon. If you don't have the vendor connections to get these parts from an authorized dealer, with full warranties, etc. etc.... you probably should rethink your business model because it will likely end very poorly for you, and subsequently.... your customers.
That all said, I will not give you a downvote for your vid, as it does actually show you the inside, but I will not upvote it either because it leads the unknowing astray because there is a LOT of steps left out, heating, how to, commentary explanation, etc.
