This is better than most horror remixes to me because really for most of these themes there is little that's implicitely horror, but each one has a detail that makes them.... unsettling. And the more that are seen/introduced you get an idea of a story paints a story of a much deeper horror that makes you both afraid, and desiring, to see further.
The mummy genuinely fills me with dread and I’ve never even had a fear of mummies. That slow sliding to reveal before it just SLAMS down is terrifying

I like the blend of some sort of an ancient Eastern culture, AND CORPSES. ALSO TORTURE DEVICES. So many of these get me just with the eyes design-wise. I mean, yeah, the song is a banger, but I'm a sucker for some good creepy designs that I can actually look at.

This is the best incredibox version of the year for sure. As they said below, this just hits different. Love it. I also like the fast rattling moving guy. There is no way this doesn't become a montage of a horror animation or something. The funniest thing is that if you put the captions you can actually hear what the hanging guy is saying. When i was younger i loved Egyptian mythology. And that might be a defining factor in why i love this mix the best.
this is genuinely kind of scary in a way that im not sure about, but i absolutely love this.
What really scares me is how well made this is (Also I find it ironic that mods for a game about beat boxing has more instruments than accapella, it's like every mod is a dystopia spin off. I say dystopia because out of every version, that one had the least non artificial sounds)

I have a story for the creepy distorted voice guy. (I got it from another comment somewhere)
He was once an archeologist exploring an ancient Egyptian tomb. He found a golden sarcophagus lying in a room. As soon as he opened it to study the mummy, the mummy awoke. The archeologist started running in fear, while the mummy behind him rose out of the sarcophagus, and let out a roar, then unleashed his curse onto the terrified archeologist which caused him to suddenly fall over. Parts of him were getting covered in a black ooze which started eating away at his body and hat like acid, which painfully messed up, and distorted his face. As he lay dying, he silently suffered and was violently twitching in pain until Anubis finally claimed him. Now, he serves as an example of what happenes when you do so much as open or desecrate an ancient tomb.

a small theory i made about the Mutated, the Mutated was once a singer but he had a small incident with the Upside Down and his entire body just became this dismantled figure afterwards.
