Zhou Shen is probably the hottest singer in China in 2020. He became very popular after he participated in a couple of variety shows: Super Vocal, Chinese Idol-Our Song and SInger 2020. Recently (end of November 2020), his just celebrated his 100th performance in 200 (above one appearance in every 3 days). He is probably one of the most sought after Singer in China now.

Zhou Shen is singing the version by Elaine Paige who was the original singer of this song from Broadway 'Cat'. I think Elaine is still the best singer so far for this song. Zhou Shen has a new song called "Painting Silk 畫絹"and it's a beautiful song. The song described a painter in the Tang Dynasty and he wanted to keep his love in the painting forever. They could not stay together but he thought the painting could carry his profound emotion. He used up all his color want to paint his love on the painting silk and remember her forever.

He have sung many style and type of songs. Sometimes he love to mix Chinese opera or western classical with modern songs. Mostly Chinese opera with ballads or rock.
