3.2 Million Christmas Lights | Give Kids The World Village Celebrates It’s Night Of A Million Lights

3 million of lights from Disney World are just some of the things that are part of the first-ever Night of a Million Lights at Give Kids The World Village.
From Nov. 13 through Jan. 3, 2021, the 89-acre resort that fulfills the wishes of critically ill children from around the world who want to visit Central Florida, is being turned into a walk-through, fully-immersive holiday light spectacular. (For Disney fans, think of it as The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights on steroids).
“The breadth and scope of this festive display have to be seen to be believed,” says Give Kids The World President and CEO Pam Landwirth. “Walt Disney World Resort’s donation of more than three million lights, combined with the elaborate designs of so many wonderful partners, will astound Central Florida families, while enabling us to continue our mission to transform the lives of critically ill children and their families.”
Visitors will be able to walk through the village, located in Kissimmee, ride the Village’s storybook accessible attractions, and enjoy complimentary treats during this first-of-its kind event.
For the first time ever, guests can experience the childlike wonder of our magical, whimsical Village during a walk-through, fully immersive holiday light spectacular. Stroll the Avenue of Angels, aglow with more than three million lights; savor delicious treats; and enjoy the accessible rides and storybook attractions that have brought happiness and hope to critically ill children and their families from around the world for 34 years.

I shared this with my cousin... she actually stayed there with her daughter, Katie. Katie has LGS ... she loved your video. She’s non verbal 9 years old and you made her night ... she can’t go because she’s a little worse now and the mask thing ... my cousin says the “empty space “ is where the horse are. Thank you so much for this visit. We met you at Disney Magic Kingdom at Liberty Tree Tavern. You brought back memories for us. My son Devin stayed at the village for 7 days when he was granted a wish. He was a chemo patient. We visited the village once since then. Thank you so much. Live the Castle of Miracles. Give Kids the World Village is such a wonderful place. I'm glad I've been there a few times to volunteer, including putting together a small section of lights for this event. Tonight was going to be a volunteer preview night but I wasn't able to make it so it's nice getting a preview through your video Nate.
