- Another interior modification! I'm replacing the factory door handles with aftermarket pulls like you'd see on, well, a race car. Colored in Light has started Super Automotive Accessories and the introductory product are these sweet straps!

Question, we have a similar car (two years different) but same Meister R’s. So yours make noise over deep fast dips? I have enough gap that I shouldn’t be rubbing but there’s often a noise when making a turn where there’s a dip in the street. There’s no sign of rubbing either - no wear marks on the rubber or clean spots in the well. Really seems to do with compressions. Brakes Plus had a look during my last alignment and said the whole system looked and felt properly installed…

Since the strap is being screwed into plastic and you pulling it to close the door isn't there now a risk of the bolt stripping the plastic insert out?
The original door handle is screwed into the same plastic.
1:15 Door pulls help you close the door when you're strapped down to your seat, not for weight saving... also racecars don't have any interior so they just slap a piece of fabric there to grab 😄
