Nah I've played every persona game and played at least 70-80% of megaten's library (including dds megami tensei). i enjoy both but i love smt more. as for smt if, it's actually a decent game UNTIL world of sloth hits and then everything from that point on goes entirely downhill. except the the story conclusion and plot twist which imo is actually pretty sad. if had potential but sloth was just too much and takes at least 50% of the games rating away. not that the other last couple worlds are better but more manageable with a guide.
sloth is just entirely inexcusable.

for number 4, actually scratch that, most games in this series are impossible to get unless you have grandpa hardware from the ancient era of last decade (2012). I had to watch a p5 playthrough by johne on CZcams, and didn't regret it :)

Calling persona 3 the third game (I don't think this happens with smt 4 apocalypse and smt 5, but persona fans have it)
Good gameplay mechanics (I have seen people praise this but it's really easy to cheese by spamming defense. The psp re-release of ep even added a defense button just because of this cheese)
Treating is and ep as a single game (there are game ranking sites that do this all the time while giving specific tiers for 3/4/5 rereleases)
Good monster collecting mechanic In a monster collecting rpg.(persona 1 requires you to fuse 2 cards but you can't use the cards themselves and in 2 duology it's basically compendium but instead of money you grind for arcana cards)
Gay people/straight people depending on the innocent sin shipper (kinda funny that maya and jun are against each other in this because majority of is events are connected to those two)
As you can see from the explanations, I am one of them (still haven't finished ep tho due to being too busy to basically play any jrpgs)
