My baby girl born premature at around 34 weeks on 4th Feb she is passing green stool a week before and yesterday also for whole day green stool and evening normal yellow coloured stool. I took her to pediatrician and there we have done her stool routine it's report is normal. Doctor prescribed her GutKure ampules twice a day for 5 days and this course also done. But I am noticing with every feed she is passing stool and also not taking milk property just latching the milk and leaking the same instantly. She is gaining weight also but I am worried. Please help
Don't worry, everything your baby is doing is perfectly normal for a preterm. Everything is fine As long as she is feeding, gaining weight and passing urine 5-6 times a day.

Sir my baby is 3 months 10days old in the 2nd month we shifted from one city to another from that time he is passing loose stools we went to predatrician he gave darolac 2 sachets I used 1only from that day he is passing stools again 2nd month ending we went to predatrician he gave endogermina and zinc supplement as a course some what better. But he is passing stools fully sometimes and small stains sometimes When we went to vaccine in 3rd month I asked predatrician for the same their she told to express 5ml breast milk and then start feed then also no improvement Baby is passing stools like a strain small small amount for that small amount I have to change diaper and have to clean that peanut size strain Some said change your diet Some said his body is heat so he passes small amount He is exclusive on breast feed He born with weight 2.75 kgs now he is 5.8kgs in 4th month

Of your baby is passing greenish yellow stools, then no need to worry about..if ur baby passes stool just after every feed, then no need to worry about...don't give levish medicines..it's normal guy pattern.just monitor weight of your child. Doctor, please advise if this medicine being used by a pediatrician for my 7 months 20 days kid is safe or not. We took our kid after 6-7 water loose motion at night and had 2 days of previous 4 stools/day greenish stool (but not as watery as today). I just wanted to confirm if he is using right medicine. He is MBBS, MD (Paeditrics) Amikacin Injection 1ml/day for 4 days Ofloxacin & Metronidazole Suspension These are both Antibiotics and I am scared if this medicine has any serious side effect?

Need to get your baby checked for lactose intolerance and other allergies and accordingly restart normal milk.

Sir my baby is 3 months 10days old in the 2nd month we shifted from one city to another from that time he is passing loose stools we went to predatrician he gave darolac 2 sachets I used 1only from that day he is passing stools again 2nd month ending we went to predatrician he gave endogermina and zinc supplement as a course some what better.
But he is passing stools fully sometimes and small stains sometimes
When we went to vaccine in 3rd month I asked predatrician for the same their she told to express 5ml breast milk and then start feed then also no improvement
Baby is passing stools like a strain small small amount for that small amount I have to change diaper and have to clean that peanut size strain
Some said change your diet
Some said his body is heat so he passes small amount
He is exclusive on breast feed
He born with weight 2.75 kgs now he is 5.8kgs in 4th month

Of your baby is passing greenish yellow stools, then no need to worry about..if ur baby passes stool just after every feed, then no need to worry about...don't give levish medicines..it's normal guy pattern.just monitor weight of your child.

Don't worry, please don't give antibiotics..just make sure she remains hydrated and make sure she is not allergic to something you are giving.

Doctor, please advise if this medicine being used by a pediatrician for my 7 months 20 days kid is safe or not. We took our kid after 6-7 water loose motion at night and had 2 days of previous 4 stools/day greenish stool (but not as watery as today). I just wanted to confirm if he is using right medicine. He is MBBS, MD (Paeditrics)
Amikacin Injection 1ml/day for 4 days
Ofloxacin & Metronidazole Suspension
These are both Antibiotics and I am scared if this medicine has any serious side effect?
