And the show itself is "based on" the comics rather than a direct port. I imagine the Walkers in them would be the same, just slightly different storylines.

Granted, they can be annoying, but what, did they expect him to suddenly not act like a kid when everything suddenly goes to hell? No. Granted, Clem showed more maturity than he did (and that's part of why she's one of my favorite characters), but not all kids are like that. I liked Duck, and I actually cried when he and Katjaa died.

I didn't like Duck, not because of his immaturity, but the fact that he does absolutely nothing useful for the group. He just causes problems.
